David Otunga Wins Back Temporary Custody Of His Son From Jennifer Hudson

As we previously reported, David Otunga and Jennifer Hudson have split up and the actress/singer obtained an order of protection against him. The two had been in a legal battle over custody of their eight-year-old son David Jr, with Otunga recently getting custody of the boy for Thanksgiving. Now TMZ reports that Otunga has been awarded primary custody on a temporary basis.

The two reached a temporary agreement which will give Otunga custody for most of the time. Hudson is currently filming the UK version of The Voice in London and she’s also committed to travel to Los Angeles for the program. Otunga previously said he was his son’s primary caregiver since he was born due to Hudson’s schedule. They both have agreed to this arrangement for the time being until a permanent custody arrangement is made. Hudson has also voluntarily dropped the order of protection, which stopped Otunga from seeing her or their son. However, Otunga will not be moving back into the family home.
