Details On JC Mateo’s WWE Contract Length

JC Mateo has been with WWE since back in May, and a new report has some details on his contract with the company. Mateo, formerly Jeff Cobb, debuted for WWE at Backlash. He has previously been part of the NJPW roster.

According to Fightful Select, Mateo signed a three year deal with the company when he arrived in WWE. That would take him into May of 2028.

Mateo debuted by helping Jacob Fatu retain the United States Championship in a match against LA Knight, Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest. While Fatu split from the group, Mateo remains allied with the Bloodline splinter faction headed by Solo Sikoa.

Mateo last competed alongside his fellow MTFs in a Survivor Series-style elimination match on the November 28th episode of Smackdown.
