Donald Trump Says The Rock Reached Out To Him After Assassination Attempt
On the latest episode of Six Feet Under, The Undertaker had WWE Hall of Famer and US President Donald Trump on, who talked about his involvement in WrestleMania 23, The Rock calling him after the assassination attempt on him, and more. You can check out some highlights below:
On his involvement in WrestleMania 23 with Bobby Lashley vs. Umaga and Vince McMahon having his head shaved: “Well, the big thing we had, the Battle of the billionaires. And that was with Vince and me, and we each had our wrestler. He had Umaga. We had two good guys, and they wrestled. And fortunately, my guy won and the loser had the hair shaved. I said, ‘I don’t want to have my hair shaved.’ But we actually wrestled a little bit. It was a pretty famous thing, but I think it has your all-time record for [pay-per-view buys].”
On The Rock calling him after the assassination attempt on him: “You know, he was great. I never thought he liked me, and I felt badly because I think he’s a terrific guy. And then Dana White said when I was shot — I took a shot to the ear, you may have heard about it. [laughs] Rock called Dana, said, ‘I want to have his number, I want to have his number. What he did was sort of incredible.’ He considered it bravery. I don’t know, I considered it, ‘What’s going on here?’ But it was very nice actually, The Rock.”
