Drew McIntyre will make his first appearance as the new Undisputed WWE Champion on this week’s episode of WWE Smackdown. As noted, McIntyre defeated Cody Rhodes for the title on last week’s episode of Smackdown. WWE announced on Raw that the new champion will appear on Friday’s show.
McIntyre defeated Rhodes in a Three Stages of Hell match. The third fall was a cage match and Jacob Fatu returned to TV during the match, going after McIntyre. When Rhodes pulled Fatu off McIntyre, Fatu laid him out and McIntyre was able to crawl out of the cage to win the championship.
You can see the updated card below for Friday’s WWE SmackDown show, which takes place from the OVO Arena Wembley in London, England. The show airs live on Netflix internationally and at the usual 10 PM ET/PT timeslot on USA Network in the US.
