Last night’s WWE SmackDown ended with Drew McIntyre standing tall over his rivals, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Uso. Earlier today, McIntyre shared a message for his bitter rivals via social media.
In the main event of this week’s WWE SmackDown, McIntyre had just defeated Uso in a No Disqualification Match. Afterwards, McIntyre kept up the attack on Jimmy Uso, which drew out Cody Rhodes to make the save. McIntyre then nailed Rhodes with a Claymore kick, leaving both men lying in the ring.
Earlier today, Drew McIntyre shared a photo of the aftermath on Friday Night SmackDown. He also wrote in the caption, “Proceed. With. Caution.”

Drew McIntyre Gets a Title Rematch Against Cody Rhodes at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event
Drew McIntyre will get his chance at defeating Cody Rhodes and winning the WWE Championship once again at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Rhodes previously defeated McIntyre in their earlier WWE Championship match at Wrestlepalooza last month.
The World Title has seemingly eluded McIntyre at every turn for years. If McIntyre doesn’t manage to win the title here, it’s hard to foresee how he can maintain a foothold in the division as a major contender for the foreseeable future.
The event takes place on November 1 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will stream live on Peacock in the U.S. and on Netflix Internationally.
