Evolve News: EC3 Appears on iPPV, WWE Cruiserweight Classic Qualifiers

– At Evolve 61, TJP defeated Fred Yehi and Drew Gulak defeated Tracy Williams to qualify for the WWE Cruiserweight Classic.

– TNA’s Ethan Carter III appeared on the Evolve 61 broadcast as Drew Galloway’s surprise. The two attacked several members of the roster, and Carter cut a promo on WWE, noting that he succeeded without their help and became a world champion, just liek Galloway did. The angle is that Galloway had turned on Johnny Gargano, due to his alliance with WWE (Gargano has been working for NXT). Galloway feels that it is hurting independent wrestling and that Evolve are giving into WWE, and losing their independent spirit.
