Five-Star Conversation 05.05.10: Commentpalooza Regarding The Draft
Normally, I wouldn’t bother to take up any time discussing this topic. We all have birthdays and, while I regard them as glorious, sacred things, approaching them much as Vickie Guerrero might be revered in India, this one was a bit different. 40…I was in my late ‘20s when I saw this for the first time…
…and even then, though I knew I’d hold Edina Monsoon up as an idol, I had no idea exactly how closely our 40th birthdays resemble one another, down to “burning joss sticks” in the bathroom.
The only reason I bring this up is because I received a phone call from one Steve Cook, plump to bursting with cheer and well-wishes, gleefully punishing his liver as if it had convinced Maryse to get a breast reduction, ebbing to-and-fro, in-and-out of the best Dusty Rhodes he could manage in his concurrent “Scott Hall goes to the Iron Sheik roast” state of mind, sloppily meandering through every catch phrase The American Dream ever uttered in Mid-Atlantic.
Take that promo and add a fifth of Jack and you get the idea. The absolute coup de gras of the whole message, though, was at the minute-and-a-half mark, in complete stream-of-consciousness banter, he drops the Dusty speak completely and says, “What a minute, is this thing even fuckin on…?!” Thanks, Cook, you alcoholic virgin, that absolutely made my day! And I’ll bear in mind what you said about shooting you when you turn 40, because you couldn’t imagine being “so fucking OOOOLD”. Sure you can. You know damn well when TNA airs. Watch and take notes.
For myself, I made a little cosmetic improvement. I was supposed to have had John Morrison hair. It ended up looking a little more like CM Punk’s. Well, if he’d wash it. Then I had it lightened and it resembled Heath Slater’s and decided that enough was enough and it was time for a change, to paraphrase a great man. Now I have jack Swagger hair and am being complemented left and right. I feel a good decision was made. In a random vote of optimism, on my first full-fledged day of my “fortidom”, I was carded buying a bottle of vodka. Rock the fuck on.
Just a quick warning, folks
Speaking of Cook, I’m afraid he, Lansdell, JT and a few others of us may need to plan an intervention on Larry. It’s a bad sign when he starts to editorialize news pieces, although, in this instance, you really can’t blame him:
According to The CT Post, 22 year old Zavr Peygumbari is in a lot of trouble. Peygumbari is accused of calling the WWE headquarters more than 20 times, and threatening to “blow up the company’s offices and saying he would visit the building with a machete and a machine gun.” But WHY is this man so upset? He was upset that WWE released Mickie James. He was arrested on Friday, and his lawyer simply described him as “a fervent wrestling fan who did not intend to follow through on his threats.”
He was arrested on Friday and arraigned on Monday afternoon. He was charged with four counts of fourth-degree threatening, one count of second-degree harassment and two counts of second-degree threatening. Judge William Wenzel told Peygumbari he could not contact WWE employees, go near its Stamford offices, or attend their events.
First of all, Zavr Peygumbari, that’s not a name, it’s a bad Scrabble hand. Second, I really liked Mickie’s work, too, especially when she was finally allowed to debut on WWE-TV as Trish Stratus’ nutty obsessed fan. Remember when people were referring to her as the female Kurt Angle because she, like he, had been kept down in developmental for so long?
I think that storyline took us all by surprise because it was something fun, interesting and original for a couple of divas who played their respective roles well, and that includes what went on between the ropes once the bell rang, too. For that reason, I think many of us held out hoping for more such good stuff from Mickie, even after Trish retired, but it just didn’t seem to happen.
But back to Mr. Peygumbari, I think we finally have a name to put on this internet legend:
COMMENTPALOOZA!
glad to see that someone else has picked up on the awesomeness of Sheamus calling everybody “fella”
Posted By: scouser
I’ve seen a lot of folks recognizing Sheamus’ penchant for the term of endearment, scouser, and I hope he keeps using it. It just sounds right and natural coming from him…to say nothing of thoroughly entertaining! I think it should be something he uses, solely and unto himself…sort of like when Triple H is cutting a promo on an opponent, “…and you got another thing comin, Jack!”
PS, with regard to Sheamus last week, my apologies for having misspelled 411’s resident awesome guy Chris Lansdell’s last name (for those not getting the connection, I believe it was Lansdell who coined the term “poipe” during the build to Extreme Rules). Sorry, Chris!
Did I miss something? I didn’t see JTG move to Raw, and he is still listed as on Smackdown. Oh and Big Show is a Main Event Face and Christian is above freaking Drew McIntyre and Kofi. He is borderline Main Event
Posted By: Brandon
Do you even watch wrestling Eubanks?
Here’s how it breaks down:
RAW:
MAIN EVENT FACES: Cena, Edge, Orton, HHH
MAIN EVENT HEELS: Batista, Jericho, Sheamus
UPPER-MIDCARD FACES: Morrison, Truth, Hart Dynasty
UPPER-MIDCARD HEELS: The Miz, Ted DiBiase
MIDCARD FACES: Khali, Bourne, Henry, Santino
MIDCARD HEELS: Carlito, Jackson, Kozlov, Regal
ETC FACES: Goldust, Primo, Yoshi
ETC HEELS: Zack Ryder
DIVA FACES: Natalya, Eve, Melina, Kim, The Bellas
DIVA HEELS: Maryse, Alicia, Jillian
SMACKDOWN:
MAIN EVENT FACES: Show, Rey, Taker
MAIN EVENT HEELS: Swagger, Punk
UPPER-MIDCARD FACES: Christian, Kane, Kofi, Hardy, MVP
UPPER-MIDCARD HEELS: McIntyre, Rhodes, Ziggler
MIDCARD FACES: Finlay, Hornswoggle, JTG
MIDCARD HEELS: Gallows, Shad
ETC FACES: Masters, Reks
ETC HEELS: Dudebusters, Chavo, Archer
DIVA FACES: Phoenix, Kelly, Tiffany
DIVA HEELS: Layla, McCool, Rosa
When you look at it that way, the real difference between Raw and Smackdown becomes more apparent:
There’s more of a focus on upper midcarders on SD – Christian, Kofi, Ziggler, McIntyre are all headed to the main event it seems. Meanwhile, Raw is the flagship, so they have more major players (even evident by SD’s champ vs. Raw’s champ – no comparison)
Then you have the people at the bottom of both brands. On Raw, you’ve got guys like Yoshi and Ryder, seemingly on their way up. On SD, there’s Masters, Reks, Archer, Chavo – guys who don’t seem far from future endeavors.

Thank you, this man should have been the man to write this article.

Is Drew McIntyre really as high on the card as CM Punk? I really can’t see him as high in the WWE pecking order as a 3 time World Champion.

First things first, maybe it’s the old age settling in, maybe all the acid I did in my 20s is starting to finally display some long-term effects on my brain, but I seriously would have sworn up and down that JTG had been drafted to Raw. I had to check and double-check that to believe it. In doing so, I also noticed that Batista had been switched to Raw following his WWET win at Elimination Chamber, much the same as Jack Swagger being moved to SmackDown! after he cashed in his $itB contract on Jericho the SmackDown! following WrestleMania. I have no defense for why I was so certain JTG had been switched to Mondays. As far as Batista goes, though, with the usual amount of cross-branded promotion that occurs on the road to WrestleMania combined with the manner and timing of his win over Cena telegraphed so plainly to me that he was losing the belt back in a month, it never dawned on me that he’d been moved to Raw. Thanks to Brandon for having kept me honest on those points.
Aside from that, I honestly feel Mitch and I are predominantly on the same page…predominantly. After The Cutting Edge on this week’s Raw, I think it’s pretty safe to assume that Edge, like The Big Show, has turned to better suit his new brand’s need for him (and I really enjoyed his reasoning for having turned and why and why on Orton…they worked hard to get that “Spear! Spear!” chant over and it just didn’t catch on…not like Orton’s “RKO! RKO!” chants the fans have organically picked up all on their own and without cajoling or coaxing).
I completely believe the intention for The Hart Dynasty is to obtain the level of upper mid-card faces, the whole point in having used Bret Hart’s popularity to springboard the team to being seen as legitimate opponents to relieve ShoMiz of The UTTTs, but they simply aren’t there yet. With Bret reportedly being done with WWE in roughly two weeks’ time, it seems as if the final rub he’ll give will be to his descendants and I truly hope it’ll be enough because I’ve always loved this team. However, I suspect David Hart Smith might be the real break-out star of the team, as just now am I personally starting to see some real potential from him. There was a moment during the match where they won the belts where Smith was charging The Miz on the floor, and the 0-60 sensibility of the move, the expression on his face…something about the simple way he executed the move made me think, A-ha…this one may come along yet!
Let me jump over to SmackDown! while we’re talking about belts and the manner in which I suspect they are viewed by McMahonagement and, thus, the manner in which we, the fans, are supposed to accept those wearing them. I was asked if I think McIntytre should really be placed as high as I ranked him in the talent breakdown, which was even with CM Punk, in SmackDown!’s upper mid-card. I do, and here’s why – although I think it’s pretty plain that The Harts are intended to succeed, it seems to me the desire to see McIntyre flourish (and quickly) is much more pronounced by the WWE brass and that ICT is meant to provide the platform of elevation for him (despite how poor a job has been done to do so in a meaningful manner, as I’ve whined about here often enough since Elimination Chamber); conversely, it seems to me that allowing a team like The Harts to cleanly go over a team comprised of two greater established acts like Miz & Show is a declaration of hope mixed with intention…does that make sense?
I admire the well-intentioned faith in placing Mark Henry high up enough the card such that he’s an actual mid-carder, and he did score a win over Zack Ryder, so Mitch‘s hierarchy stands up in this case, although doesn’t it make more sense to push the younger Ryder, rather than Henry, who has been with the company since 1996? I’m more convinced that the intentions for Khali and Marella will continue to be founded in comedy, therefore, although likely visible and utilized each week, that, to me, doesn’t equate to being solidly mid-card. That could just be me and the way I look at things. If so, fine.
It appears as if we will indeed see a resurgence of The Ruthless Roundtable (with or without Ezekiel Jackson…we’ll have to wait and see once his quadriceps heals up), so good for that…it continues to allow Regal a role both physical and in a state of mentorship and provides something of certain meaning for Kozlov, who is otherwise fairly without rudder and so, in this case, yes, they both most certainly belong in the mid-card, although we wouldn’t have known that until seeing this first, post-Draft Raw. I think that tended to be our biggest dividing line, Mitch; I was looking at the talent strictly from the point-of-view of where they were before The Draft and how they’d be entering the new roster, whether or not they’d been traded, whereas you seemed to be making some assumptions with respect to where you felt it was obvious they’d go, which makes sense, but I didn’t want to color the black-&-white of it at all. This goes for where Show, Punk and Mysterio were placed on the SmackDown! breakdown, too. Again, I’ll not argue at all that that’s where they’re at now and where they deserve to be.
I truly admire and share all the love The IWC has for Christian; what I don’t share is its’ optimism in his regard, that he’ll be used at any higher level or in any greater role than we’ve seen out of him since he returned from Dixieland; although, given SmackDown!’s “new” role in the WWE Universe, the pretense apparently being dropped where its’ “B” show status is concerned, considering the “phasing out” process The Silver & Blue will be experiencing in some markets this summer prior to making the Tuesday night jump to Sy-Fy, perhaps we will see a greater role afforded The Good Captain in the coming months…after all, he did hold dominion over ECW for months. However, I will expect the worst as I hope for the best in his regard, will rejoice if he’s pushed or simply continue to cheer his exemplary efforts if he’s used to put over other talent. I think the same can be said of Matt Hardy at this stage. Along the same lines, do you really think MVP will fare this well?
I completely accept Kane’s placement on your roster, being placed so high up the card, even though if there was ever a WWE talent who walks a treadmill, it’s Kane. Lord, that guy’s gotten more mileage out of that single 24-hour WWET reign back in 1998…! I think it’s a safe bet that Rhodes will ascend to the upper mid-card, too, and it wouldn’t surprise me if he turned face within the next several months, too, so as to further separate him from his establishment days on Raw as part of Legacy, but that’s just a hunch. Finally in this vein, I still think Ziggler is a work-in-progress in the eyes of McMahonagement and I stand by my statement last week that he’s going to be put into a program straight-away with the veteran Finlay as a result of his tribulation with Hornswoggle. If that’s the case, Ziggler is going to serve an apprenticeship on the house circuit, which will only help him up the card, so all is well there.
As for Masters, he’d been relegated to such an inconsequential role for so long, were he to debut on SmackDown! as a heel, boasting a renewed vigor and desire to crush the puny in The Masterlock, I seriously doubt the better part of fans would bat an eye. Again, when one just sits around and waits to play a quick comedy skit every week, where to go from there if/when reintroduced to the actual wrestling portion of the show, there’s at least a little freedom involved.
This is one of my favorite draft results so far. Raw is the only show that I watch when it airs, usually catching Smackdown on YouTube Saturday morning. That means I get to see my favorites: Edge, Jericho, Orton, Miz, Morrison… all on Monday nights.
This “raping” of the Smackdown roster is annoying in that people complain every year and don’t see the genius behind it all. People will complain that nobody ever gets a chance to move up the card, so WWE has created a show chuck-full of upper-midcard wrestlers that have been waiting for a chance to break into the main event. Mysterio has headlined Wrestlemania, so it’s hard to say he’s not a bonafied main eventer. Big Show is a multi-time world champion that has headlined a number of PPVs and can easily slide into that role. This will allow Swagger to grow into his role against two proven draws in Mysterio and Big Show that have never had a problem putting over young talent. Then you have Punk, Kofi and Christian, three guys that can put on great matches and all believable move into the main event scene with ease. This should be the IWCs dream come true. A show featuring Swagger, Punk, Kofi, Christian and Mysterio with Kane and Big Show as resident monsters to put them over.
As far as your concern about Swagger having to “climb the mountain” of Big Show, this is PERFECT. Remember when Heyman turned on Lesnar and Big Show won the belt? Along with a number of other things, this helped further legitimize Lesnar. Swagger keeps running his mouth and Big Show steps in his way. Swagger fights him off and hits some big power moves, pins Big Show cleanly and you have made a star.
Smackdown will be fun to watch. Won’t stop the IWC from bitching, but they’ll change their tune in a month or two when they proclaim it the best wrestling program on TV.

Big Show can always get moved back into the main event picture, as can Punk and Rey. I think they’re keeping the top of the card lightly populated until they settle on a permanent direction for the brand.

Chavo’s chance to ever be a “wrestling” talent again died with this draft. Smackdown just released their entire jobber roster (other than Tyler Reks, who is so far down the ladder you didn’t even list him). Guess who’s filling the role now.
I don’t see how they can re-do Brock/Show with Swagger/Show. I think Brock/Show, purely from a booking perspective, was one of the best feuds of the decade, and easily the best thing Show has ever done, but it was done with Show as the unbeatable monster heel. Show got the better of Brock most every week on TV, including numerous pinfall victories, but when the title match happened on the PPV, Brock would find a way to survive and win. It worked, and it worked well. They can’t do it that way this time. Swagger hasn’t been built up like Brock was, and if he gets beaten every week on TV, he will look like another Rey Mysterio-style lame duck champion.
Posted By: saneiac
4234, I agree completely, although I’ll say the massive level of love and appeal Mysterio commands from young and old fans alike and the combination of Show’s size, history and recent 16-month or so reign as ½ of The UTTTs with two separate partners makes both of these veterans a lot more relevant than having headlined PPVs in the past, even WrestleMania (especially since most of us want to forget Mysterio’s WT run).
As for Swagger’s chances against Show, I like them and I do think it could work, the least reason being that, absolutely, Show has never had a problem putting over anyone that I’m aware, and shouldn’t be concerned about doing so a future franchise player as Swagger is currently apparently being groomed to become. Yes, I completely recall the Show/Lesnar program! That was one of the best-booked eras in WWE history as far as I’m concerned, and for anyone who scratches their heads when it comes to the magnificence of Heyman’s booking strategy needs to delve into this period of the brand’s history and then compare it to that which followed once Heyman parted ways with WWE. The difference between Heyman’s ability to book Lesnar to the top without sacrificing the omniscience of The Undertaker, actually make Show better than he’d ever been before and even bring in Matt Hardy and elevate him in the process without “Abyss-ing” him the way Hogan’s doing in TNA right now is nothing short of astounding.
Although I am optimistic for Swagger/Show, I don’t think it’s going to be as easy or as cut-&-dried for Swagger as 4234 makes it sound. As saneiac says, Swagger doesn’t have Lesnar’s imposing physical build or, moreover, his impressive booking build coming into this feud that Lesnar enjoyed when Heyman held the SmackDown! book. However, don’t let’s undercut Swagger’s ability or potential to rise to the occasion. Perhaps I’m actually supposed to watch this clash start come over the horizon and feel doubtful in Swagger’s regard…? Maybe that’s the point of his booking thus far? That way, when Swagger eventually goes over clean (and he really needs to, IMO), people will be suitably, if regrettably, impressed and have to take him quite a bit more seriously than just being that lisping kid who lucked into a championship.
Does it make more sense, though, for Swagger to have to defend against Mysterio or Show first…? I can see him getting the better of Mysterio, barely eeking out a victory, taken to the limit by the nimble and resourceful veteran, then having to turn around and completely switch gears against a giant…?
I also think what Iron Knee suggests is highly likely, too, that they have a number of ideas and possible ways to take things, depending upon who ends up how in the eyes of the fans in the new environment, eg, the obvious plan is to send Kingston to the moon, but what if something MVP does clicks and his popularity eclipses that of Kingston’s? Do we scrap Kingston’s plans, put them on hold, or switch some specifics to better fit MVP’s character and give the push to him? Just something to consider.
Lastly, because saneiac mentioned my negligence to include Tyler Reks in last week’s festivities, that was an intentional omission because he wasn’t added to the SmackDown! roster following the demise of ECW until after The Draft. Conversely, Curt Hawkins was still on listed on the SmackDown! Superstars section of the WWE site, but I decided against including him because he’d not been used on WWE-TV in months and I knew he was working down in FCW; it was just a hunch that he’d not be included in The Draft, and, if so, he’s at such a low level, the only way he’d be making any kind of a switch would be on The Supplemental Draft. Even so, why trade someone apparently struggling to remain employed in developmental to the flagship show? It was just a judgment call.
Geoff, Seeing how Carlito declined Ted Jr’s offer to be the new Virgil, I can see him and his brother making up to feud with Ted Jr’s rumored new stable. It wouldn’t shock me to see Goldust involved. We might actually see The Family Business (or something like it) become a group after all.

Damnit this whole “Dibiase and Hennig” coming up with the other DiBiase rumor is NOT true what-so-ever. DiBiase and Hennig were the FCW tag team champions as of a few weeks ago and split up a few weeks ago as well, possibly even 2 months. Joe Hennig now feuding with Brett DiBiase with Hennig as a heel and DiBiase as the face. Why would they split them up and turn Hennig heel just to bring the team together to the main roster? Hennig/DiBiase’s big altercations still haven’t even aired yet.
Considering talent that just comes up to the roster still works FCW shows for a while, this change makes no sense and has not even been tested in FCW. In short, the rumors are BS.
Posted By: SHADE
Hey Shade,
Remember when the WWE brought in The Basham Brothers as a team? They were teaming in the WWE while they were still feuding with each other in OVW. I think WWE can pull that off again. It can be done also because not everybody in the world follows FCW.

If Monday’s Raw is anything by which to judge, Schmoovester, it appears as if Goldust is returning to his former role as comedy fodder, only this and nothing more. I don’t know how Dustin feels about this, if he’s just happy to be used and visible on the “A” show at all, or if he’d rather be mixing it up in the ring. It just seems to me that we’ve likely seen much of The Gilded One’s physicality already left in the ring. I’ve not seen this third Colon brother, but, assuming his overall style is similar to that of his older brothers, I can think of worse things than a huge second- & third-generation war erupting over The UTTTs among a reunited and fortified Los Colons, The Fortunate Sons and current champs, The Hart Dynasty!
As for the rumor-squashing suggested by the emphatic SHADE, you’re absolutely right, this could all just be coincidental, the Raw booking team borrowing a term from developmental and running with it as if it were their own. Either way, it makes a lot of sense. However, I have to say I am hopeful that the wisdom brought about by 9743‘s view of history where WWE-TV and developmental is concerned. It doesn’t mean a damn thing what’s going on in FCW, OVW, DSW, Taz’ House of Hardcore, The Power Plant or any other developmental in the history of the industry, because WWE will do what WWE needs/wants to do to accomplish that which it has earmarked it needs/wants to do or accomplish. 9743 offers a great example how what can be occurring on WWE-TV has little or nothing to do with what’s happening in developmental.
I’m not going to chastise SHADE for being steadfast that Brett and Hennig won’t be making up to the main roster, at least by tagging with Ted, because for all I know, he’s got the inside track and I’m just repeating what I’ve heard might go down. But, it seems to me that 9743‘s careful attention to hindsight makes for a better overall story than does SHADE‘s careful attention to the indies (mainly because there’s a lot of hopeful thinking involved here on my part!), though both are certainly admirable!
Yeah, I guess I wasn’t very clear with my wording. What I meant was that Raw and SD would have exclusive titles for their wrestlers and if that titleholder was drafted/moved to another show, they would have to forfeit their title. Personally, I would like to see a restructure of the titles in the WWE. Let’s face it, the US and Intercontinental, for all of their lineage, don’t mean shit anymore. I would like to see this set up.
Raw:
Raw Champion (main-eventer)
Raw TV Champion (mid-upper-mid card)
Raw Diva’s Champ
SD:
SD Champ
SD TV Champ
SD Diva’s Champ
The WWE World Champ, Unified Tag Team, and WWE Women’s Champ can float from show to show as they wish/need for feuding purposes. Just a thought.
Also, I’m missing the Sweet Chin Music. How about Christian starts using it? His finisher just doesn’t flow enough for me. I think he’d be great with it.
Posted By: Angry Bear
If anybody picks up the superkick as a finisher, it should be John Morrison. I thought he was going to start using it as a finisher last year, actually, during the 2-week mini-feud between M&M and DX. TUNE UP THE BAND, JO’MO’! Starship Pain, while it has the “ooh, ahh” factor, is just not a dangerous-looking finishing move, y’know?
Posted By: KanyonKreist
Hmm, Bear, I’m not sure. Let me make sure I’m following you. You’re suggesting that Raw & SmackDown! each have its’ own champion, let’s say for example purposes Cena for Raw and Swagger for SmackDown!, plus an overall champion who rules the company as The WWE Champion, say Triple H (come on, who else? LOL). Swagger and Cena would each be rooted on his respective brand, but Tri could bounce to each brand to defend his title? And this scenario would likewise work for the divas, say, Maryse on Raw, Kelly Kelly on SmackDown! and Maryse The Women’s Champion? Sorry, fella (copyright 2010, Sheamus), but it sounds as if perhaps you had a little too much Russo on your Wheaties this morning, my friend. That’s a LOT of titles and there’s enough complaining that, between the World and WWE Champions, it’s tough enough trying to sort out who really is the best in the company.
I agree with your suggestion that The IC & US Titles just don’t mean nearly what they used to and should mean today and I’ve always been a huge fan of a Television Title; considering the midcard belts don’t even make it to being defended on PPV more often than not (and if they do, it’s a late, non-publicized add, so it’s not as if the championships are being used to help sell the card anyway), but I just can’t see getting rid of those lineages…they’re pretty much all that’s keeping the prestige of the titles in tact.
I’d just like to see the old school way of utilizing the mid-card title as a statement, a means of displaying and grooming the upper mid-card for the main event. In its’ heyday, The ICT, as Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart both have stated, was the “work horse” title, the young guys who busted their asses to achieve and excel beyond that level on the card, and up into the main event, where a lot of the more sports-entertainment-y type stories would go down, where they didn’t have to work quite so hard, allowing the story to do most of the work, thus keeping the top-name talent safe and healthy, as they are the draws. But then again, I’m old.
As far as someone consuming the super-kick, I think it’s WAAAY too soon for anyone to be allowed the honor of bringing HBK’s signature move into his arsenal. I’m all for recycling important signature moves, you know this if you’ve read here previously how much I love seeing Ziggler using the sleeper or Swagger making the charging Vaderbomb to such a successful and impressive end. I’ll most definitely agree that Christian is LONG overdue for finisher upgrade; I’ve said it for quite awhile now, that I think the difference between the Christian we see now and the Christian that could be is the inclusion of a sudden and devastating move that he can pop off at a moment’s notice, like The RKO, like The Stunner, like Sweet Chin Music, but I think it has to be something either original or something he dredges up from the past to make his own and new again. A signature submission maneuver wouldn’t hurt, either…it’s just a matter of whether or not he can come up with one and if he’d be allowed to use it.

You’re obviously not a fan of real sports. Sporting events like the BCS Title Game have been shown live in theaters for at least a year. ESPN is even launching its own 3D network in people’s homes. WWE is behind the curve on this, glaringly so if WrestleMania XXVII isn’t in 3D.
Posted By: Morgan Wick
What’s a BCS? You couldn’t be more correct, Morgan, I couldn’t care less about “real” sports. As a matter of fact, two things I know very little about, and thus, shy away from discussing them, are sports and technology, and to prove it, I stuck my foot in my mouth last week in this regard as you and the saint pointed out. Suffice to say, though, that 3D does appear to be the forward trend and it would behoove Vince and company to keep up with the proverbial Joneses on this one and drop the cash it would cost to make it happen, instead of shredding wads of cash trying to get his wife elected to an office she’ll never see.
That’s all for this week! Thanks for reading!
