FTR Celebrate AEW World Tag Team Title Victory With Stokely Hathaway

FTR pulled off their historic third AEW World Tag Team Title victory last night at AEW Full Gear 2025, beating Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) to win the AEW World Tag Team Titles. Now, AEW has released a promo segment featuring FTR celebrating their win with their manager, Stokely Hathaway.

First, Stokely Hathaway sang a little in celebration of the title win for FTR. Cash Wheeler then commented, “Just like Big Stoke here is the songbird of his generation, we are the songbird of ours. We have been a tag team since 2014. We’ve been doing this for over 20 years, we are undisputedly the best tag team that has ever walked this planet.”

Dax Harwood commented on joining up with Stokely, “This might’ve started up in April, but if you think about it, if we think about it, this actually started back at the end of 2019. This has been in the works for a long time coming. And now, it finally happened, and look, when it happens, this happens! We become three-time AEW World Tag Team Champions, only the second time in company history for a tag team to become three-time tag team champions.”

Harwood continued, “On top of that, we are now in the record book as 11-time world tag team champions. And you can go through the list of tag teams. All the greatest tag teams of all time. You can go through the list of all your Mount Rushmores. I don’t know who you put on it, from Legion of Doom to Arn and Tully, to the Rock and Roll Express, and the Midnight Express. You are now looking at the absolute best tag team on the planet. The only tag team that has won 11 different world titles across seven different promotions!”

He added, “No one else has done that! Worldwide, we are the best, and now, the best deserves the best tequila.” After showing off his special mix of tequila, Harwood explained, “We will go back, and we will party. We will wake up at 8 a.m. tomorrow, jump on our flight, go home, and start the week like this is nothing because it is nothing because it’s another day at the office for the Top Guys. Top Guys, out!”
