Jacy Jayne Appreciates Fatal Influence Comparisons to The Shield

During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Jacy Jayne reacted to WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray comparing her group, Fatal Influence, to another iconic WWE stable, The Shield. Jayne was flattered by the comment and shared her thoughts on the comparison.

In response to Bully Ray comparing Fatal Influence to The Shield, Jacy Jayne commented, “A lot of fans have compared us to the Shield, and I love that. That is such a compliment to me. The Shield, they’re the top guys, and they’ve been the top guys.” She continued, “Like Roman said last night, ‘It’s always been them.’ When other people left or when the company went down, company went up, it was always them, and for people to compare us to that, that’s amazing.”

The wrestler added, “I’ll take that, and that’s a lot of pressure and a lot of responsibility, but I feel like we’re capable of being the first female Shield.”

During last week’s WWE SmackDown, Fatal Influence confronted newly crowned Interim WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green during her title celebration. Tiffany Stratton also offered Jacy Jayne a title shot if Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid put their titles on the line. Later in the show, Fatal Influence successfully defended the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Green and Stratton.
