Jacy Jayne Discusses Potential Fatal Influence Split on Main Roster & Comparisons to The Shield

Former NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne recently discussed the idea of Fatal Influence eventually splitting up on the main roster.
Fatal Influence has been going from strength to strength since arriving on the main roster on SmackDown after WrestleMania 42. Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid are the reigning Women’s Tag Team Champions, and the trio picked up a huge victory over The Bella Twins and Paige this past Saturday at SummerSlam.
Jayne appeared on WWE Radio this morning. During the conversation, she was asked whether she was concerned about Fatal Influence ultimately breaking up on the main roster.
Jayne said that she doesn’t see the trio breaking up anytime soon and their current aim is to dominate the women’s division. However, she admitted that there will come a time when they will have to go their separate ways and hoped that they would be ready to be on their own by then.
She also claimed that FI has the potential to be the female version of The Shield.

On the faction potentially splitting up in the future
“I think, right now, we’re a unit. I don’t see us breaking up anytime soon. Never say never. I’m sure down the line at some point, we might all go our separate ways. But, I think we’ll all be ready when that time comes to go our separate ways, but right now, we’re just sticking together, and we’re taking over the division. We’re stronger together than we are apart right now, so, week by week… take all the gold.”
On Fatal Influence potentially becoming the female version of The Shield
“I love that [on the idea of FI being the female version of The Shield]. That is such a compliment to me… They’re the top guys, and they’ve been the top guys. Like Roman (Reigns) said last night, it’s always been them. When other people left or when the company went down, it was always them, and for people to compare us to that, that’s amazing. I’ll take that, and that’s a lot of pressure and a lot of responsibility, but I feel like we’re capable of being the first female Shield.”
