Jade Cargill Says It Was Inspiring Working With Naomi: ‘She Just Gets It’

Jade Cargill’s heated feud with Naomi is something that was inspiring to Cargill, as she recently noted in an interview. The two engaged in a lengthy feud over Naomi’s attack of Cargill at the end of last year, leading to matches at WrestleMania 41 and WWE Evolution. Cargill appeared on the Rap on Wrestling podcast and was asked about working with her rival, noting that Naomi “gets it” in terms of the business.

“Oh, it’s so inspiring,” Cargill said (per Fightful). “I think Naomi gets it. She just gets it, and to see her shed new skin that no one ever seen before and she was ready to unlock, it’s inspiring.”

She continued, “The fact that she still loves this business after being in it for so long, because it can become taxing and it can become so, so much, right? But she strapped up her boots and she’s still pushing it, and she’s still in love with it. I’m hoping she inspires me to keep on pushing, strap up my boots and keep pushing when it’s time, when things get hard as well.”

Cargill was the 2025 Queen of the Ring and challenged Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam, but was not able to capture the title.
