Jade Cargill and Tiffany Stratton are heading to SummerSlam, qualifying for the Interim Women’s Title Match on this week’s WWE Smackdown. The two picked up wins in qualifying matches on Friday’s show, with Cargill defeating Nia Jax and Statton beating Jacy Jayne.
Cargill’s win came in short order, as Charlotte Flair came down to the ring seeking revenge for her rival’s assault of Alexa Bliss. She attacked Michin and B-Fab, then nailed Cargill for the DQ.
Meanwhile, Stratton beat Jayne in just under eight minutes. The finish came with Stratton dodging the Roaring Elbow and hitting a springboard Stunner, followed by a Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the pinfall.
The two will be part of the ladder match to crown an interim WWE Women’s Champion. Adam Pearce announced the match before Smackdown due to Rhea Ripley being out with an injury. You can see clips from the WWE Smackdown matches below.
