Jey Uso Proposes Teaming With Cody Rhodes In WWE Elimination Chamber

Jey Uso will be up against his friend Cody Rhodes in the Elimination Chamber this weekend, and he’s suggesting that they team up. Uso is set to compete in the men’s Chamber match at Saturday’s PLE. He will be in there with Randy Orton, Trick Williams, LA Knight, Je’Von Evans, and Rhodes, the latter of whom he has been closely allied on and off on WWE TV.

Uso appeared on ESPN First Take for a new interview. He explained the difference in experiences in the Chamber and the Royal Rumble before suggesting that he team up with Rhodes so they can be the last two standing. You can see the highlights below:

On the Difference Between Elimination Chamber & the Royal Rumble:

I mean, there’s there’s steel all the way around you. At least with the Royal Rumble match man, you got bodies in there. I mean, it’s easy to punch you in the face or sometimes your punch might not be a little harder than mine. So, I could take that. But if you grab my head and try to damn, ram my head into some steel or some bolts, there’s chains right there, Uce. If I hit the chains like your back just rub against some steel wire ain’t it, Uce. You feel me, it ain’t it. There’s no steel wire in a Royal Rumble match. That’s the difference.”

On Possibly Teaming With Rhodes In the Match:

“Hey, Cody, my dog. Yeah, if you want to talk some strategy, man, me and you tight. We get down, We get jiggy. That’s tight. Hey, we can get rid of everybody else. We can get rid of the other four. Me and you, run it back. Me and you, we can do it, man. That’s the strategy. I’m going just throw it out there. I mean, we need strategy to win to make it to the last round. Come on, man. Help me out.”
