John Cena Reportedly Set For Event At Fanatics Fest This Weekend

John Cena is already set to appear at this weekend’s Fanatics Fest, with a new report noting that he’s expected to appear at one of the events. The convention is taking place starting later today in New York City at the Javits Center, and WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select notes that Cena is expected to compete at the Fanatics Games event in the featured WWE matchup.

The report notes that Cena is expected to face off with Olympic Gold medalist Noah Lyles. Rhea Ripley was originally set to compete against Rob Gronkowski, but Ripley’s injury resulted in that being pulled. Ripley, the current WWE Women’s Champion, is still scheduled to appear at the convention.

Fanatics Games is described as follows:

“Fanatics Games is back for year two – bringing together elite athletes, celebrities, creators, and a select group of fans for the ultimate showdown across eight epic sports challenges. $2 Million in prizes. $1 Million Cash Grand Prize. One true GOAT – only at Fanatics Fest.”

It isn’t yet clear how Cena and Lyles will be going head to head.
