John Cena appeared in his capacity as WrestleMania 42 host to announce the attendance for night one on Saturday. Cena came out on Saturday’s show before the main event to announce the attendance in Allegiant Stadium, which came in at 50,816.
As of Thursday evening, the latest report had night one at 44,319. That number grew to 50,386 as of this morning.
A big topic of conversation leading into this year’s WrestleMania was the slower ticket sales compared to last year’s iteration, which also took place at Allegiant Stadium. Last year’s attendance for night one was 61,467, announced by Shawn Michaels as a sell-out for the venue.
Cena was still in the ring following the attendance announcement when Bianca Belair made a surprise appearance and came to the ring to reveal that she was pregnant.
