Welcome to 411’s WWE Hell in a Cell 2018 Report. We are LIVE in beautiful San Antonio, Texas. Tonight’s Kickoff Show panelists are the Coach, Booker T, Paige, and Peter Rosenberg. We start off with a video package for Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch and then head to a video package for Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella vs. The Miz & Maryse. Coach and Booker pick Miz & Maryse, but Paige and Rosenberg pick Bryan & Bella.
David Otunga replaces Booker T on the panel, and we move on to a video package for Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton. Paige announces that Hardy vs. Orton will be the opening match on the match card. Next up is a video package for AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe followed by a video package for Ronda Rousey vs. Alexa Bliss.
Kickoff Show Match
Smackdown Tag Team Championship Match
The New Day (Champions) vs. Rusev Day w/ Lana
It’ll be Kingston and Big E for the New Day in this match. Kingston and English start the match, but English quickly makes the tag to Rusev. Rusev muscles Kingston to the corner and whips him to the opposite corner, but Kingston floats over to land behind Rusev. Kingston goes for a springboard crossbody, but Rusev catches him in mid-air and delivers a series of knee shots to the ribs. Rusev drops Kingston to the mat and locks in a front chancery. Rusev drags Kingston back to his feet and pounds on him in the corner. Rusev takes Kingston up top, but Kingston knocks Rusev back down to the mat and follows up with a diving tornado DDT. Rusev makes the tag to English as Kingston makes the hot tag to Big E. Big E delivers two belly-to-belly suplexes and follows up with a running splash in the middle of the ring. English makes it to the corner to tag Rusev, and Rusev immediately levels Big E. Rusev connects with a spinning kick and sets up for the Machka Kick, but Big E ducks. English makes the blind tag, but Big E still spears Rusev out of the ring. English dives onto Big E on the outside and rolls him back into the ring for a two count. English heads up top and goes for a senton, but Big E kicks out and makes the tag to Kingston. Big E teams up with Kingston for a powerbomb / double stomp combo, but Kingston kicks out of the pin. Rusev gets the pin and tries to dump Kingston to the outside, but Kingston grabs the ropes and instead dumps Rusev to the floor. Big E launches Kingston to the outside, but Rusev catches Kingston with a side kick in mid-air. Rusev rolls Kingston back into the ring, and English makes the tag. Rusev misses a diving head butt, but English connects with a top rope diving splash for a two count. English locks in Rusev’s Accolade, and Rusev connects with a Machka Kick to Big E to prevent him from making the save. Kingston powers out of the Accolade and whips Rusev out of the ring. Big E prevents Rusev from heading back into the ring as Kingston levels English with Trouble in Paradise for the three count.
Match Result: Kofi Kingston defeats Aiden English with Trouble in Paradise.

The Kickoff Show finishes with a video package for Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman.
As has been widely reported since yesterday, the cell is now totally red. Hardy charges at Orton to start, but Orton immediately takes control. Orton muscles Hardy to the apron and then knocks him off the apron and into the cell.. Orton heads out of the ring, but Hardy slams him into the cell. Hardy retrieves a table from under the ring and slides it into the ring, but Orton catches Hardy with a clothesline. Orton rolls Hardy into the ring, but Hardy surfs the tables under the bottom rope and into Orton’s ribs. Hardy heads back out of the ring and find a ladder. Orton grabs a steel chair and takes a shot at Hardy, but Hardy counters with a ladder shot to the ribs. Orton sets up the chair outside the ring and goes for an RKO onto the chair, but Hardy shoves Orton into the cell and then launches himself off the chair to connect with a flying leg shot to Orton. Hardy rolls Orton back into the ring and heads up top, but Orton heads up top with him and hits a superplex for a two count. Hardy gets back to his feet and connects with Whisper in the Wind for a two count of his own. Hardy grabs a second ladder from under the ring and erects it upside down outside the ring. Hardy tries to suplex Orton onto the ladder, but Orton counters and dumps Hardy ribs-first through the supports of the ladder. Orton rolls Hardy back into the ring and gets another two count. Orton grabs another chair from under the ring and connects with a still chair shot to Hardy’s back. Orton beats Hardy down to the mat with several more chair shots to the back and then whips Hardy with his own studded belt. Orton sandwiches Hardy between the two halves of a ladder and stomps the ladder closed. Hardy fights back to his feet and momentarily regains control with an inverted atomic drop and his patented low leg drop. Hardy goes for the Twist of Fate, but Orton shoves Hardy to the ropes and catches him with a power slam on the rebound. Orton heads back out of the ring and empties a tool box. He grabs a screwdriver and heads back into the ring. ORTON PUTS THE SCREWDRIVER THROUGH HARDY’S EAR LOBE AND TWISTS IT!!! That was horrific. Hardy breaks free, grabs a chair, and beats Orton down to the mat. Hardy heads up top and looks for the Swanton Bomb, but Orton hits the ropes to makes Hardy lose his balance. Hardy falls to the apron, and Orton hits his patented rope-assisted DDT. Orton is bleeding from multiple cuts on his back. Orton sets up for the RKO, but Hardy counters into the Twist of Fate. Hardy sets a chair onto top of Orton and heads up top. SWANTON BOMB ONTO THE CHAIR AND ORTON! Hardy covers Orton, but Orton somehow manages to kick out at two. Hardy rolls out of the ring and slides another ladder and another table into the ring. Hardy sets up a 10’ ladder next to a 6’ ladder and then sets up the table next to them. Hardy hits a Twist of Fate and sets Orton on the table. Hardy climbs the 6’ ladder and thinks about using the 10’ ladder to vault onto Orton, but instead he climbs to the top of the 10’ ladder. Hardy grabs the top of the cell and starts swinging over Orton. Hardy builds momentum and drops from the top of the cell, but Orton rolls off the table. Hardy slams face-first through the table, and the referee immediately calls for medical personnel and for the cell to be raised. Orton covers Hardy and demands that the referee make the three count. The referee obliges under duress as the cell continues to be raised. After the match, medical personnel put Hardy on a stretch and take him out of the arena.
Match Result: Randy Orton defeats Jeff Hardy after Hardy falls face-first through a table.

Lynch immediately takes Flair to the mat and hits a pair of gator rolls. Flair fights back with a gator roll of her own, and both women get back to their feet. Flair catches Lynch with a single leg takedown and goes for the Figure Four, but Lynch tries to counter into the Dis-arm-her, but Flair blocks. Flair wrenches the leg and then traps Lynch in the corner. Flair repeatedly drives her shoulder into Lynch’s ribs, but Lynch side steps the last shoulder shot, and Flair posts herself in the corner. Lynch locks in a modified bow-and-arrow and then wrenches Flair’s shoulder. Lynch locks in a hammer lock on the mat and bridges to add to the pressure. Lynch goes for the Bexploder, but Flair blocks. Flair lands a chop to the chest, but Lynch regains control with a clothesline. Lynch hits a running leg drop followed by a standing elbow drop. Flair gets back to her feet and kicks Lynch to the outside. Flair rolls Lynch onto the apron, and Flair and Lynch slug it out on the apron. Lynch grabs Flair’s arm and slams her shoulder-first into the apron. Lynch goes for the Dis-arm-her, but Flair rolls into a pinning predicament for a two count. Lynch connects with an uppercut, but Flair backslides Lynch into a pin for another two count. Lynch hits a kick to the gut, but Flair responds with a big boot. Flair heads up top and goes for the moonsault, but Lynch rolls out of the way, and Flair slams to the mat. Lynch goes for a triangle chock, but Flair counters into a sit-out powerbomb for a two count. Flair and Lynch get back to their feet and slug it out in the middle of the ring. Lynch hits a sweet hammer lock / inverted DDT combo for a two count. Lynch heads up top and goes for a missile drop kick, but Flair catches the legs and rolls Lynch into a Boston Crab. Lynch makes it to the ropes to break the hold and then rolls out of the ring to slam Flair’s shoulder into the ring post. Lynch heads back into the ring and locks in the Dis-arm-her, but Flair slides under the bottom rope to force the break. Flair hits a back elbow shot but charges into a DDT, and that’s enough for Lynch to get the three count. After the match, Flair offers to raise Lynch’s hand in victory, but Lynch just raises the title in Flair’s face before heading up the ramp.
Match Result: Becky Lynch defeats Charlotte Flair with a DDT.

Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre (Champions) vs. Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose
Rollins and Ziggler start the match, and Rollins catches Ziggler with a side head lock takedown. Rollins and Ziggler lock up for a test of strength, but Ziggler takes control with a kick to the gut. Rollins muscles Ziggler to the corner, and Ambrose makes the tag. Ambrose works over Ziggler before making the quick tag back to Rollins. Rollins goes for the Stomp, but Ziggler rolls to the outside to avoid disaster. Ziggler tags McIntyre, but Rollins charges straight at him. McIntyre levels Rollins with a shoulder tackle and calls for the tag to Ambrose. Ambrose gets the tag and gets right in McIntyre’s face. McIntyre hits the ropes, but Ambrose levels him with a low drop kick to the knee. Ambrose gets la magistral for a two count, but McIntyre kicks out and makes the tag to Ziggler. Ziggler catches Ambrose in a sleeper hold and drags him down to one knee. Ambrose fights back to his feet and drops Ziggler neck-first onto the top rope. Ambrose tags Rollins, and Rollins levels Ziggler with the Sling Blade. McIntyre momentarily distracts Rollins, and that gives Ziggler time to hit a DDT. McIntyre gets the take, beats Rollins down to the mat, and makes the tag back to Ziggler. Ziggler distracts the referee as McIntyre lands a cheap shot boot to Rollin’s skull. McIntyre gets the tag and kicks Rollins back down to the mat. McIntyre locks in a modified arm bar and chops Rollins to the mat before making the tag to Ziggler. Ziggler taunts Rollins and locks in a sleeper hold. Rollins breaks the hold, but Ziggler makes the tag to McIntyre. McIntyre pulls Ambrose off the apron to make sure Rollins can’t make the tag and then goes for a back suplex, but Rollins floats over and lands on his feet. Rollins makes the tag to Ambrose, but Ziggler distracts the referee, and the referee doesn’t see the tag. Ziggler gets the tag and takes Rollins up top, but Rollins kicks Ziggler back down to the mat and hits a blockbuster from the top. McIntyre gets the tag, but Rollins FINALLY makes it to the corner for the hot tag. Ambrose traps McIntyre in the corner and stomps a mud hole in him. Ambrose goes for Dirty Deeds, but McIntyre blocks, so Ambrose transitions into a jackknife pin for a two count. Ambrose looks to head up top, but Ziggler distracts him. Ambrose goes for Dirty Deeds to Ziggler on the apron, but McIntyre kicks Ambrose to the floor. Ambrose heads back up top and goes for a diving elbow shot, but McIntyre catches Ambrose and suplexes him into the corner. Rollins and Ziggler get the tags, and Rollins clotheslines Ziggler to the outside. Rollins goes for a suicide dive, but Ziggler and McIntyre catch Rollins in mid-air. Ambrose follows up with a second suicide dive onto Rollins, Ziggler, and McIntyre, and all four men fall to the floor. Rollins and Ziggler head back into the ring, and Rollins catches Ziggler with a Falcon Arrow for a looong two count. Rollins lands a low kick to the gut, but Ziggler goes for a Fameasser, but Rollins counters into a buckle bomb. Ziggler rolls up Rollins, but Rollins reverses. Ziggler hits the Zig Zag, but Rollins kicks out at two. McIntyre gets the tag and goes for the Claymore Kick, but Rollins counters with a super kick. Rollins heads up top and connects with a frog splash to the back for a looong two count. Ambrose gets the tag, and Ambrose and Rollins both head up top with McIntyre. Ziggler pulls Rollins down, and they both spill to the outside. McIntyre hits a clothesline off the top and makes the tag to Ziggler. Ambrose goes for Dirty Deeds on McIntyre as Rollins makes the blind tag. Rollins takes Ziggler up top and hits a superplex. Rollins rolls through into the Falcon Arrow, but McIntyre connects with a Claymore Kick to Rollins as he’s delivering the Falcon Arrow to Ziggler. Ziggler ends up falling onto Rollins, and that allows him to get the three count.
Match Result: Dolph Ziggler defeats Seth Rollins after a Claymore Kick from Drew McIntyre.

Styles attacks Joe right from the start, but Joe muscles Styles to the corner. Joe goes to work with stiff jabs and a kick to the chest. Joes lands a stiff chop, but Styles fights back with a standing drop kick. Joe rolls out of the right to catch a breather, but Styles connects with a running knee shot from the apron. Styles slams Joe’s face into the announce table and rolls him back into the ring. Styles goes for the Phenomenal Forearm, but Joe again rolls out of the ring. Styles slingshots to the outside, but Joe catches him with a kick to the knee in mid-air. Joe whips Styles knee-first into the ring steps before rolling Styles back into the ring. Joe traps Styles in the corner and connects with a running knee shot. Styles fights back and goes after Joe’s leg. Styles traps Joe in the corner and continues kicking Joe’s legs. Joe retaliates with an enzuigiri that sends Styles to the outside. Joe hits a diving forearm shot to the outside that sends Styles crashing into the announce table. The crowd is DEAD right now, and it might not have been the best idea to have this match follow that amazing tag title match. Joe rolls Styles back into the ring and levels him with a running back elbow shot. Joe locks in a modified rear chin lock and then takes Styles up top. Joe goes for a superplex, but Styles slides between Joe’s legs and pulls Joe face-first onto the top turnbuckle. Styles hits a low drop kick and follows up with a moonsault reverse DDT from the second rope for a two count. Styles goes for a Lionsault, but Joe gets the knees up. Joe hits a powerbomb for a two count and then rolls Styles into a Boston Crab. Styles tries to escape, so Joe transitions into a STF and then transitions again into a crossface. Joe head butts Styles and hits a still forearm in the corner. Styles side steps Joe in the corner and hits an amazing sit-out rack bomb for a two count. Styles hits the springboard 450 but again only gets a two count. Styles sets up for the Styles Clash, but Joe counters into a catapult into the corner. Joe follows up with a vicious clothesline and gets a two count of his own. Styles is bleeding from the nose following the clothesline. Joe goes for the Muscle Buster, but Styles escapes. Joe goes for another clothesline, but Styles counters with a Pelé kick. Styles hits a forearm shot and goes for the Phenomenal Forearm, but Styles catches Styles and locks in the Coquina Clutch. Joe drags Styles down to the mat, but Styles rolls while still in the clutch and pins Joe’s shoulders to the mat for the three count. The bell rings, and Joe is convinced that he won the match, saying that Styles tapped to the Coquina Clutch. Joe grabs the championship, but Styles levels him with a super kick. The hard camera doesn’t show Styles tapping, but an alternate camera angle clearly shows Styles tapping before the referee makes the three count.
Match Result: AJ Styles defeats Samoa Joe by pinning him while in the Coquina Clutch.

Brie and Maryse start the match, but Maryse immediately tags Miz, forcing Bryan to enter the match. Maryse distracts Bryan, and Miz takes advantage. Miz traps Bryan in the corner and goes to work with mounted punches. Miz whips Bryan to the corner, but Bryan flips over and lands behind Miz. Bryan goes to work with mounted punches of his own and goes for the Yes! Lock, but Miz scampers out of the ring. Bryan tags Brie, and that forces Maryse to enter the match. Maryse immediately tags Miz, once again forcing Bryan to enter the match. Miz whips Bryan to the ropes and catches him with a knee to the gut on the rebound. Miz follows up with a drop kick in the corner and then hits his patented corner clothesline. Miz heads up top, but Bryan hits the ropes, causing Miz to lose his balance. Bryan heads up top and connects with a hurricanrana. Bryan goes for the running knee, but Miz side steps him. Bryan lock in the Yes! Lock, but Maryse breaks it up. Miz goes for the Skull Crushing Finale, but Bryan rolls through and rolls up Miz for a two count. Bryan hits a running drop kick in the corner but misses a second one. Miz locks in a rear chin lock and taunts Brie. Miz hits his backbreaker / neck breaker combo and gets a two count. Miz traps Bryan in the corner and goes to work with the It Kicks. Miz takes Bryan up top and goes for a superplex, but Bryan heads butts Miz back down to the mat. Bryan goes for the diving head butt, but Miz rolls out of the way. Bryan tries to tag Brie, but Miz blocks. Bryan back body drops Miz to the outside and FINALLY makes the hot tag to Brie. Miz slides between Brie and Maryse, so Brie pounds on Miz. Brie slides between Miz’ legs and catches Maryse on the outside. Brie slams Maryse’ head into the announce table several times before rolling her back into the ring. Brie connects with a second rope drop kick, but Miz breaks up the pin. Brie and Bryan go to work with stereo Yes! Kicks to Maryse and Miz, but Maryse and Miz duck the final kicks and roll out of the ring. Maryse and Miz try to escape up the ramp, but Brie retrieves Maryse as Bryan deals with Miz. Brie rolls up Maryse, but Maryse reverses and rolls up Brie for the three count.
Match Result: Maryse defeats Brie Bella with a rollup pin.

Ronda Rousey (Champion) w/ Natalya vs. Alexa Bliss w/ Mickie James & Alicia Fox
Rousey gets a quick side head lock takedown, but Bliss gets back to her feet and goes right after Rousey’s injured ribs. Rousey rolls Bliss into prawn hold, but Bliss kicks out. Rousey looks to lock in the arm bar, but James and Fox distract Rousey from the outside. Rousey again goes for the arm bar, but James and Fox pull Bliss out of the ring to save her. Rousey heads to the outside and retrieves Bliss. Bliss begs off but then charges at Rousey. Rousey side steps Bliss, and Bliss tumbles to the outside, taking out James and Fox. Rousey again heads to the outside to retrieve Bliss, but Bliss drops Rousey neck-first onto the top rope. Bliss slams Rousey’s face into the top turnbuckle and then lands a stiff kick to the injured ribs. Bliss locks in a seated abdominal stretch, but Rousey fights back to her feet and lifts Bliss onto her shoulders. Rousey looks like she’s setting up for the standing reverse kata guruma, but her ribs give out, and she crumbles forward. Bliss heads up top, but Rousey follows her up. Rousey goes for a superplex, but Bliss slides between her legs. Bliss ties up Rousey in the tree of woe and connects with a drop kick to her ribs. Bliss goes back to the seated abdominal stretch, but Rousey fights out. Bliss lands a basement drop kick and posts Rousey in the corner. Bliss slides out of the ring and pulls Rousey’s ribs into the ring post. Bliss distracts the referee as James and Fox again pull Rousey’s ribs into the ring post. Natalya makes the save, and Rousey rolls back into the ring. Rousey and Bliss hit the ropes and collide with simultaneous attempted crossbodies. Bliss kicks the ribs and taunts Rousey, but Rousey, for lack of a better term, Hulks Up. Rousey hits a sweet gutwrench powerbomb and works over Bliss in the corner. Rousey blocks a punch and hits the standing reverse kata guruma. Rousey locks in the arm bar, and Bliss immediately taps.
Match Result: Ronda Rousey defeats Alexa Bliss with the arm bar.

Mick Foley is the special guest referee. Reigns punches before the bell rings, so Foley officially starts the match. Strowman fights back and posts Reigns in the corner. Strowman knocks Reigns off the apron and into the cell. Strowman whips Reigns into the cell and then slams his face into the ring post. Strowman again whips Reigns into the cell before rolling him back into the ring. Reigns hits the ropes and lands a Superman Punch that sends Strowman out of the ring. Reigns heads to the outside, but Strowman shoulder tackles him into the cell. Strowman slams Reigns’ face into the apron and then into the ring steps. Strowman picks up the ring steps, but Reigns catches him with a Drive By. Reigns launches himself off the steps toward Strowman, but Strowman catches him in mid-air and choke slams him onto the apron. Strowman grabs a chair from under the ring, but Reigns grabs a kendo stick and breaks it over Strowman’s back. Reigns grabs the chair and lands a volley of shots to Strowman’s back. Strowman blocks a chair shot and charges toward Reigns in the corner, but Reigns side steps him, and Strowman posts himself in the corner. Reigns hits a DDT onto the chair in the middle of the ring but only gets a two count. Reigns hits a Superman Punch, but Strowman does not go down. Reigns hits a second Superman Punch, but Strowman again stays on his feet. Reigns goes for a third Superman Punch, but Strowman catches him and delivers a choke slam for a looong two count. Strowman charges toward Reigns in the corner, but Reigns gets his boot up. Reigns hits a pop-up Superman Punch for another two count. Reigns slides a table into the ring and goes for a spear on the outside, but Strowman counters by slamming the ring steps into Reigns’ face. Strowman rolls Reigns back into the ring and again slams the ring steps into Reigns’ face. Strowman covers but only gets a two count. “Why won’t you stay down, you moron?” – Braun Strowman. Strowman drives the steps down onto Reigns’ ribs and follows up with a power slam for another two count. Strowman props up the table in the corner and goes for a power slam through the table, but Reigns floats over. Superman Punch! Superman Punch! Spear through the table for a looong two count! Ziggler and McIntyre come down to ringside, but here come Rollins and Ambrose. Rollins and Ambrose chase Ziggler around ringside and beat him down to the floor, but McIntyre makes the save. Ziggler and McIntyre prep the announce tables, and then Ziggler and Rollins climb the cell. Ziggler and Rollins brawl on top of the cell, and here comes McIntyre to join them up top. Ambrose climbs the cell, and he’s got a kendo stick on his back. Ziggler and McIntyre are working over Rollins up top, but Ambrose evens the odds with the kendo stick. Ambrose and McIntyre brawl and level each other with double clotheslines. Ziggler tries to climb down the cell, but Rollins joins him on the side of the cell. Rollins and Ambrose brawl on the side of the cell… ROLLINS AND ZIGGLER FALL OFF THE SIDE OF THE CELL AND CRASH THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLES!!! OMG, HERE COME BROCK LESNAR AND PAUL HEYMAN!!! LESNAR KICKS THE DOOR OFF THE CELL AND CLIMBS INTO THE RING!!! Heyman sprays Foley with mace! Lesnar pulls the cell door into the ring and beats Strowman with the remnants of the shattered table. F5 to Strowman! “UFC! UFC! UFC!” F5 to Reigns onto Strowman! A new official comes down to the ring and declares the match a no contest. Wait… how is that even possible in a Hell in a Cell match?
