Then. Now. Forever. Together! Nice to see they took Paul Heyman’s advice and moved Brock to the Forever section.

Last week, Roman Reigns & the Usos realigned themselves. Jacob Fatu did not, and he might be in line for a World Championship match.

Roman, Jimmy & Jey sit at the head of the table. Roman doesn’t understand where Jacob is coming from. Everyone had two years to take advantage of him taking a back seat. Jacob procrastinated, and now he wants Roman’s stuff? Jimmy doesn’t disagree with Roman, but he gets Jacob wanting to upgrade his household. It shouldn’t come at the cost of Roman & the family. Jey says Jacob is dangerous. He laid out the MFTs 1 by 1 on SmackDown. He’s unpredictable. Jey says there needs to be consequences. Roman says Jey is right, they aren’t doing charity. Roman will chew on it, make it his own and handle it later tonight. Roman, Jimmy & Jey all join hands and Roman declares them the First Family.

Jacob Fatu is backstage! Raw is in Laredo!

BURN IT DOWN! Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring while the fans sing. We see Rollins killing Bron with a chair last week, then getting attacked until the Street Profits intervene. Bron still hit the big spear though. The fans continue singing after the song stops. Rollins welcomes Laredo to Monday Night Rollins. He runs through his introduction spiel we haven’t heard in a minute. The reason he lost to Gunther at WrestleMania wasn’t because Gunther was better than him on that night. There is a reason Roman Reigns is walking around with the World Championship, and it’s not because Roman pinned him. The reason for both of those is Bron Breakker. Breakker is sitting back there with nine staples in his dome, they’ve got business to conduct so let’s do the damn thing.

Bron Breakker & Paul Heyman make their way to the ring. Bron & Seth stare at each other while the fans sing Rollins’ song. Rollins says he gave Bron everything on a silver platter, and he repaid him by taking everything away from him. Bron was the reason he lost the title, didn’t main event WrestleMania and didn’t win his match. How did it benefit Bron in any way? Heyman hands the microphone to Breakker while the fans chant Spanish expletives. Bron says that he & Bronson Reed were Rollins’ errand boys that put out fires for him. Seth is nothing, he needed Bron to fight his battles for him. He & Bronson had to sit back & listen to Seth recite the same freaking crap every week. Bron never needed Seth and his vision, the only reason they’re standing there is he needed Paul Heyman. Rollins calls Paul a dried up sack of meat. Rollins talks about how he wanted to go to NXT a couple of years ago and fight their best. Shawn Michaels said it was Bron Breakker, he said hell yeah. Heyman then asked Seth a year later about taking Bron under their wing, he said hell yeah. Bron has it all. Seth’s seen everyone come through, Bron is unique, the most versatile he’s ever seen. Bron has everything to be the next big star in this industry, except the most important thing. Seth points at his head. Seth knows how it is to be a young cat thinking the business owes him something, betting on himself & taking chances. The difference: Bron tried, Seth succeeded. Everytime Seth bet on himself it ended up with a main event or a world championship. Bron got Austin Theory & Logan Paul, steak dinners & happy endings with Paul Heyman. Rollins tells Bron that he’s not ready. Bron says he was well on his way to being a main eventer with or without Rollins. Bron says Seth’s body can’t handle it, his mind is too brittle, and his shoulder can’t handle the weight of a strap anymore. Bron came up a little short, but he can rest easy knowing he lost to the best in the world instead of somebody that self-proclaims it. Rollins is a first-ballot Hall of Famer, the best pro wrestler in the entire world at being number two. Seth tells Baby Steiner that was pretty good, did he call Big Poppa Pump for his hookup? Backlash is two weeks away, Seth will give Bron the opportunity to prove that he is ready. Bron isn’t even number two in his own family. Seth leaves the ring and the people sing.

Bayley & Lyra Valkyria are WALKING! Joe Hendry is PLAYING HIS GUITAR! Becky Lynch is WALKING! Stephanie Vaquer is WALKING until Raquel attacks! Roxanne runs a cart into Stephanie while Liv Morgan looks on. Liv tells Stephanie this is her championship, and they leave while the medics check on Stephanie. I hear some speculation that this might be sending Stephanie off for a while, I hope the people are wrong!

Penta vs. Rusev: This will be a good chance for Rusev to earn himself a future Intercontinental Championship match by himself. We see clips of him beating up Je’Von Evans. Penta tried to intervene, but was left lying. Ethan Page’s music hits! All Ego comes out stylin & profilin, he wants in this title picture as well. Rusev pounds Penta down early. Gutwrench suplex by Rusev, then a fallaway slam. Rusev kicks the black & gold clad Penta down, Penta with some kicks in response. A dropkick sends Rusev to the floor, Penta with the tope con hilo! Ethan applauds, but Penta sees that as mockery and starts yelling at him. Rusev tries to take advantage, but gets sent back into the ring. Kick by Rusev and a twisting uranage in the ring. We go to commercial!

Rusev & Penta fight on the turnbuckle as we return. Rusev gets knocked off, Penta with a crossbody. Sling blade by Penta, kick in the corner then the handstand basement dropkick gets one. Rusev fights back with a knee, misses in the corner and Penta hits a backstabber for two. Ethan tells Corey he’s rooting for Rusev. Rusev blocks the Mexican Destroyer and hits a Machka Kick! Rusev sets up for the Accolade, will it be Game over? No, Penta slips out, then jumps onto the middle rope. Rusev tries to avoid a move but ends up tripping himself up, then Penta rolls him up for three!

Winner: Penta (4:30 shown via pinfall)

Rusev attacks Penta afterward, and Ethan tries to join in but is shooed away. Penta fights back, but then Ethan attacks Penta from behind and they stomp away until Je’Von Evans appears. Flying clothesline to Page, Rusev gets superkicked by Penta and OG cut by Evans. Penta & Evans shake hands and raise each other’s hands. Rusev & Page argue in the aisleway while Penta & Evans celebrate.

El Grande, Rayo & Bravo Americano address the people. El Grande will be competing in one of the most important matches in the history of lucha libre against Original El Grande. Mask vs. Mask. It’ll be the biggest fight that he’s ever had. He’ll have to be ready to fight for his life, his name, his colors & his people. What better way to prepare than to issue a respectful challenge to the greatest luchador around here, Rey Mysterio. He challenges Rey to a match tonight in Laredo!

THE MAN HAS COME AROUND! Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring. She’s wearing her gear, so perhaps a match is at hand? It’s a whole new era of the manosphere, as a lot of history was made at WrestleMania 42. Becky got rid of loser AJ Lee and ended her horrible title reign. Becky became the first WWE Superstar in history to win 4 different title at WrestleMania, the first three-time Women’s IC champion, she’s won more WM matches than any woman in the history of WM, and she’s proved she’s the greatest women’s wrestler of all time. That’s all great, but what happened after was more important. Becky saw her baby girl sitting in the front row, and got to walk her up the ramp. She needs to show her daughter what a real champion. It’s not about the best hotels & buses, it’s about showing up in run-down towns like Laredo and showing up for common folk. They want her to be a fighting champion and defend the title against the best of the best. They want shiny, new & exciting. The Man of the people issues an open challenge to whoever wants to come out here!

IYO SKY appears! Becky seems a bit perplexed as IYO grabs a microphone. IYO accepts! Becky says she wanted new, shiny & exciting, IYO is none of those things! The fans boo, and Becky says they’re booing IYO! The fans chant for her, Becky says that IYO must be accepting on behalf of Rhea Ripley, she wanted to fight Shawn Michaels & not Marty Jannetty. Clearly IYO’s been holding Rhea back! IYO punches Becky, Becky retreats. Adam Pearce hits the stage and tells Becky not to go anywhere since they’re doing the match right now. Becky hits IYO from behind just before we go to commercial. Referee Victoria D’Errico is out there, hopefully she’s less biased than that Jessika Carr!

Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match: Becky Lynch (c) vs. IYO SKY: We return to the match already in progress, with IYO picking Becky up before getting kicked and clotheslined for two. Michael & Corey write Kairi Sane out by saying Asuka was unhappy with the result of last week’s match. Becky gets two with a middle rope legdrop. Becky goes for the Bexploder but IYO stops that and hits a German suplex. IYO elbows Becky down and jams her arm on the top rope. IYO up top, hits the missile dropkick, kips up and does her taunt! Bullet Train Attack on Becky gets two. Becky fights back, hits a Final Cut for two. Manhandle Slam is reversed, IYO stomps Becky’s chest. Becky rolls outside, she blocks the tope suicida. IYO kicks Becky on the apron and hits a sunset flip powerbomb on the floor! We go to commercial!

We return to Becky hitting a superplex into a DDT for two. IYO avoids the Manhandle again and crucifixes Becky for two. A back kick leading into a butterfly backbreaker gets two for IYO. IYO goes up top but Becky follows her up. Tornado DDT by IYO, SKY goes up top but the moonsault gets feet! Manhandle Slam…only gets two! That puts them all down, but not this time. Becky goes up top, IYO pushes her off! Asai moonsault by IYO, she rolls Becky back in, Asuka appears and trips IYO on the apron! Asuka rolls IYO in, and the second Manhandle Slam finishes things.

Winner: Becky Lynch (8:29 shown via pinfall)

Asuka attacks IYO in the ring and Asukalocks her! The referee has to break it up, and Asuka stands over IYO in celebration.

Original El Grande Americano asks Rey Mysterio if he needs to watch his back on May 30 in AAA. Rey says he doesn’t, he just wants both of them to appreciate lucha libre. The Americanos arrive and yell at Rey for associating with Original. Rey reiterates that he’s not choosing sides.

Byron Saxton talks to the Usos. Jimmy says the OTC will make his decision when he’s ready. LA Knight walks up and wants to remind them of who they are. Jey won the World Championship on his own. Jimmy’s got all the potential to be World Champion, but he won’t do it under the thumb of Roman Reigns. Jey tells him he needs to shut up and Jimmy says it’s family business. LA reminds them that the power of the Bloodline eventually corrupts, and when it does, it’ll be his business, YEAH.

We return to Joe Hendry sitting in the ring with his guitar! Joe had a big decision to make lately, and he’ll tell us in a song. He’s won the title everywhere he goes. He’s been on WrestleMania and many other shows. The time has come for him to pick one brand, and he hopes the other brands will understand that Joe Hendry’s on Raw! The next time you turn on Netflix you won’t just have to chill, there will be a whole new thrill. Respect to the Ruler, he acknowledges the OTC, but he needs Adam Pearce to fire Logan Paul. Can we fire Logan Paul? The fans join in with the same question!

Logan Paul & Austin Theory interrupt. Logan is unfireable! Who is Joe Hendry! All of you people are awful! It’s Joe’s first night on Raw and it’ll also be his last! Austin says they have gold and that makes them the greatest Tag Team Champions of the world & universe. They’re winners! Joe asks if they’re winners. The fans disagree, and so does Joe. All he sees are a couple of prime time losers. Logan & Austin get rid of the props, Austin says everything belongs to the Vision, and they’ll go through Joe tonight. Joe attacks both, but it’s a 2 on 1 scenario and Logan hits some punches and knees before the Street Profit music hits! Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins hit the ring and send Logan outside. Austin gets taken out, but is saved before Montez can hit a top rope move. Hendry does a Stage Dive onto Paul & Theory! Montez & Angelo wave their hands from side to side with the audience as Hendry’s music plays.

Grayson Waller yells at Adam Pearce about wanting opportunities. He then describes Oba Femi as overrated, and Oba happens to be behind him. Oba suggests that Grayson get an opportunity against him tonight, and Pearce tells Grayson to get his gear on.

Joe Hendry & the Street Profits exchange pleasantries backstage, they suggest that Joe get a different color shirt. Blue’s a SmackDown color, makes sense. Seth Rollins walks up to Montez & Angelo after Joe exits, they let him know that last week wasn’t about him, it was about the Vision. They leave Rollins standing there without any friends, which he should probably be used to by now.

Rey Mysterio vs. El Grande Americano 2 (w/Rayo & Bravo Americano): Arm wringers exchanged, Grande with a headlock, he tries to hold Rey down for a pinfall. Rey works into a sunset flip for two. Some tremendous mat wrestling to start and the fans appreciate it. Grande with a hammerlock, Rey takes Grande over but Grande shoudlerblocks Rey down. Rey with a headscissors, goes for the 619 but Grande meets him with a leg lariat for two. We go to commercial!

Rey backdrops Grande as we return. Grande with a palm strike in the corner, but Rey boots him in the other corner. Grande gets Rey on his shoulders, Rey slips out but gets slapped. Rey with a tornado DDT for two! Grande tried a powerslam but Rey reversed it. Rey kicks Grande into the ropes for the 619, but Bravo trips Rey. Rayo helps Grande load his mask, Rey 619s them both! Grande evades a Rey splash and tries to load his mask, but here’s the Original! Rey hits both of them & OG goes to the floor. 619, drop the dime, Rey wins!

Winner: Rey Mysterio (5:33 shown via pinfall)

Rey picks up the steel plate and accuses both Grandes of trying to use it! Rey keeps the plate for himself and leaves. The Grandes then fight in the ring, and the referees come out to try & break it up.

Our Highlight of the Night shows Jacob Fatu taking out Solo Sikoa & the MFTs while the Usos looked on. Jacob is shown pacing backstage.

Backlash will feature Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker & IYO SKY vs. Asuka!

Asuka will say when she’s done with IYO. She’s still her senpai, and all IYO has done is disappoint her. Asuka thought she did something wrong to make IYO turn against her, but IYO is the problem. She is Asuka’s biggest failure. They’re both alone now because Asuka doesn’t want another IYO. IYO killed the family and nothing will stop Asuka from destroying her. At Backlash, Asuka will teach her one final lesson. IYO is not and never will be ready for Asuka.

Oba Femi is WALKING! We’ll see him wrestle Grayson Waller next!

Oba Femi vs. Grayson Waller: Grayson has some spiffy new green long tights that I really like, but I don’t think they’ll help much in this situation. I think the fans like this Oba Femi guy. Oba blocks a kick and clotheslines Grayson before tossing him in the corner and hitting some strikes. Elbow in the corner, European uppercut. Grayson avoids another shot, then jams Oba’s neck on the corner. Waller tries his jumping through the ropes move, Oba just tosses him away. Oba hits a running uppercut, then the Fall From Grace ends things.

Winner: Oba Femi (1:05 via pinfall)

Oba asks Laredo if they’re feeling good tonight. He’s feeling good too, Grayson’s not, but we don’t care about that. Grayson did say something that was right, there is no opportunity around here because all the big champions are locked in with their contenders. Oba has a solution to their problem. As from today, the Oba Femi Open Challenge will commence! Any man that wants to prove himself can step up. Oba will be merciless, unforgiving and relentless. You’ll be stepping in with the Ruler, Oba Femi. Yeah, good luck to anybody wanting to do that.

Raquel goes and warms up while Liv & Roxanne continue their conversation from weeks ago. Liv apologizes for how things went down with Finn Balor while Roxanne was gone. She knows they were close, she saw Finn bring her into the Judgment Day and she wants Roxanne to know that they are family. Finn put himself before the family and she would never do that. Liv will be in their corner tonight and cheer them on. Does Roxanne trust her? She says she does, and Liv runs off. Finn appears and warns Roxanne not to trust Liv or anyone in the Judgment Day. Roxanne says she can’t trust Finn and has a match to get ready for. Finn should leave before he gets hurt. Finn wishes her luck with the match and hopes she knows what she’s doing.

Bayley & Lyra Valkyria vs. Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez (w/Liv Morgan): Apparently Stephanie has a shoulder injury and could be out for “a bit” per Cole. Bayley & Raquel start, Bayley with a headlock takeover. Raquel hits a back suplex. Roxanne is from the area and the fans want to see her, so she gets the tag! Roxanne kicks Bayley in the corner as the fans chant for her. Bayley drives Roxanne into the corner and tags Lyra. Lyra with a headlock, Roxanne reverses, hits a cartwheel, a bow and a slap! Lyra takes Roxanne down, she flips out of a Roxanne headscissors and slaps her! Bayley tags in, Roxanne makes her own comeback until Lyra hits a spinkick and Bayley hits the elbowdrop for two. Lyra dives outside, nobody home and Raquel takes her out. Raquel grabs Bayley and sends her into the ringpost. We go to commercial!

We return to Bayley & Raquel down in the ring, Roxanne & Lyra tag in! Lyra with some clotheslines to Roxanne and a dropkick to Raquel. Northern Lights into a vertical suplex on Roxanne gets a two count. Bayley tags in, Roxanne & Raquel hit a big boot legsweep for two, Lyra made the save. Roxanne tags in, knocks Lyra off the apron, Bayley avoids Pop Rox and hits the Bayley to Belly for two. Raquel broke it up. Lyra cross-bodies Rauqel to the floor. Liv distracts Bayley on the apron and jams her neck on the top rope. Shining Wizard & Pop Rox by Roxanne gets the three count!

Winners: Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez (6:17 shown via pinfall)

We see a video package for Sol Ruca. She’s doing all kinds of flips and stuff, it’s pretty cool. Booker T says she’s just that damn good. Sol will officially sign to Raw next week!

Roman Reigns’ music plays! The OTC enters the arena and the ones go to the sky. After a commercial break, the pyro goes off, the music ends and the fans sing. It’s been awhile since Roman’s been in Texas, they love their Tribal Chief. They made this title in spite of Roman, to try and take away from his shine. It never worked. The title doesn’t make the man, the man makes the title. That’s exactly what Roman’s done with this strap. He put it in Night Two of WrestleMania and made it relevant. Now we can be proud of this title and respect it. We can choose to acknowledge it. Roman asks Laredo for acknowledgement. He gets it, then Jacob Fatu’s music hits. Jacob enters the ring and we hear some Fatu chants. Roman says he was just getting to Jacob. He gave Jacob time to think, he’s hoping Jacob made the right choice to unite the family and not divide it.

Jacob didn’t need a week, he didn’t need a day or an hour. He knew exactly what he wanted. He didn’t want that title, he needed that title. Roman must be stuck in that main event bubble. He doesn’t grind like Jacob has been for twelve years. When Roman was running the Bloodline, he was broke, grinding on the front lines, trying to figure out if he’d be here or not. It’s not where he starts, its where he finishes, which is in front of him. Before he got here, Roman, Jimmy & Jey didn’t call him. Solo called him. Solo gave him a chance. Roman says Jacob is either confused or dumber than he thought. Solo couldn’t get a cup of coffee delivered to the building if he wanted to. Who does he think runs his place? Laredo isn’t lying. Roman’s been distracted, things get a little hectic, but he’s the one that signed off on Jacob. Jacob doesn’t deserve it, hasn’t earned it. Roman allowing Jacob to compete against him would be nepotism!

Jacob attacks! He chokes away at Roman and headbutts him! Jacob says he’ll take everything from Roman and leaves Roman laying on the mat. He tosses the World Championship at Reigns and leaves the ring. Roman yells at Jacob that he’ll see him at Backlash and throws the microphone down. Jacob says he’ll see Roman’s punk ass next week as our live event comes to an end. So long for now!
