Kazuchika Okada Reportedly Lost Bag With AEW International Championship

Kazuchika Okada did not show off the AEW International Championship during his match with Adam Priest on this weekend’s AEW Collision, and a new report says that’s because his bag was lost. Saturday night’s show featured a match between Okada and Priest for the International Title, which had been set up on ROH on HonorClub. When Okada came out for the match though, Rocky Romero told him not to take the title out of the bag as Priest wasn’t worth of it.
According to Fightful Select the reason for the title’s no-show is because the bag containing it was lost. The site reports that the bag had Okada’s ring gear and the bag.
No word on whether the bag and/or title have been recovered. Okada defeated Priest in a match that ran a little over 10 minutes. He picked up the victory via the Rainmaker to retain the non-present championship.
Okada’s title reign stands at 205 days, the second-longest run with the title behind only Orange Cassidy with 326 days. He beat Kenny Omega for the title at AEW All In: Texas in July in a Winner Takes All match that also had Okada’s AEW Continental Championship on the line. He has since lost the latter title to Jon Moxley.
