– WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch is coming under fire for her in-character reference to Ozzy Osbourne last night on Raw, and Osbourne’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne, didn’t take kindly to the remark. During last night’s show, Lynch said that the only good thing about Birmingham was dead, referring to Osbourne, who passed away on July 22 at 76 years old.
Lynch also noted in her promo that Ozzy had the good sense to move to Los Angeles because if she lived in Birmingham, she’d want to pass away as well. In a post on her Instagram Stories, Osbourne called Becky Lynch a “disrespectful dirtbag” for her comments. Kelly Osbourne wrote, “©beckylynch.fanll you are a disrespectful dirtbag! Birmingham would not piss on you if you were on fire. #birminghamforever shame on the Owwe for allowing such things to be said about my father and his home!!!”
The legendary rocker and Black Sabbath frontman is also a WWE Hall of Fame inductee. Lynch is scheduled to defend her title later this weekend at WWE Clash in Paris against Nikki Bella. The premium live event will be held at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France. It will air live on Peacock in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
Ozzy Osbourne's daughter Kelly has criticised Becky Lynch's comments from last night's WWE Raw in Birmingham, England.
In a segment with Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch said: "You can have your match, but in Paris at Clash, because I'm not wrestling in Birmingham. The only good thing… pic.twitter.com/OaleCRMAlt
