Krule Gives Update After Fan Allegedly Tries To Stab Him At Show

Former MLW World Champion Krule has provided an update after a fan allegedly tried to stab him at a wrestling show over the weekend. As Cultaholic reports, Krule — aka Mads Krugger — was defending the Ruthless Pro Wrestling Rustbelt Deathmatch World Championship at RPW OMEGA on Saturday. The Last Man Standing match main evented the show anf after the event, claims spread online that a fan pulled a knife and tried to stab Krugger. Video posted online saw several wrestlers punching the alleged assailant.

Lou Nixon, who posted the video spoke with the site and said that Krule had a brief interaction with the man at before the show where, according to Krule, he came up to the merch stand and asked how much his merchandise was, then said ‘‘I’m not f**king paying that’ and walked away. Nixon said the man was in the front row for Krule’s entrance and tried to square up with him, and Krule didn’t break character as he walked by. Nixon continued,

“The video that you see happens after the show. Now, currently, the guy’s went up to Krule’s merch table at the end of the show and squared up to him and started going, ‘Let’s f*cking go then, let’s f*cking go,’ and then tackled him. In the tackle, that’s when he must have shanked him because Krule didn’t realize he got stabbed until after.”

Mickie Knuckles, who worked the show, corroborated Nixon’s story and noted the police were already well for an unrelated reason, and said that the guy “stabbed Krule, the biggest, scariest guy in the room… and that guy just stabbed him!”

One source, it should be said, believed that the stabbing part was made up and noted, “I think what happened was that the fan got rambunctious, and I don’t know who started it necessarily, but I know that the fan was attacking Krule. I think the other wrestlers saw this, and they used it as a reason to attack this fan. I don’t believe that there was a knife in play. I never saw a knife, I never saw a stabbing, and I don’t believe that any of the wrestlers saw a knife. I really genuinely think that they wanted to help their friend… I think they quickly realized that they needed a story to save face and to not look bad on the internet.” That source claimed that there has been no police report and there are “a lot of questions about it, for sure.”

Krule responded to a post by Effy asking if he was okay on twitter, replying simply, “Krule is fine.”

Krule last competed for MLW at Lucha Apocalypto in February.
