Latest Update on When Buddy Matthews Is Expected To Return

Last month, AEW’s Buddy Matthews announced that he is having surgery to repair a broken ankle. Matthews suffered the injury back in February at AEW Grand Slam Australia. In the latest edition of Fightful Select Answers, Sean Ross Sapp reported that Matthews is not expected to return to the ring any time soon and will likely be out the rest of the year.

Matthews’ regular tag partner, Brody King, is now teaming with Bandido. The two are the AEW World Tag Team Champions.
