The actual boots worn by Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania I in 1985 recently sold at auction through Heritage Auctions for the price of $1.037 million. WWE Superstar Logan Paul actually attempted to win the auction for the boots as well, revealing on his X account that he bid as high as high as $1.021 million in an attempt to win the boots.
Ultimately, Logan Paul tapped out at that price, despite staying up late after Elimination Chamber to try and win the auction. Someone else won the boots after playing a winning bid of $1.037 million.
He wrote on his X account, “Stayed up until 2am in a bidding war trying to win Hulk Hogan’s worn & signed boots from Wrestlemania 1. The inscription read ‘These are my real boots with my real blood on them from MSG, Hulk Hogan.’ I tapped out at $1,021,000. Gg to the winner.” You can view the boots in question and Paul’s comments below.
That wasn’t Paul’s only loss last night. Despite eliminating three men in the Elimination Chamber, he was ultimately eliminated from the match by Randy Orton. The masked mystery man interfered during the bout, revealing himself to be none other than Seth Rollins, and he attacked Paul for some payback.
I’ve been saying this for years! The day when the first ever million dollar wrestling collectible would come. That day is today.
