Major Title Matches Set For NXT New Year’s Evil On January 6

NXT New Year’s Evil is officially set to take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Two major title matches have been confirmed for the television special following NXT Deadline 2025.

The company’s developmental brand presented its last premium live event of the year in the form of Deadline from the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas.

As is the case with Deadline, the major attractions of the show were the Men’s and Women’s Iron Survivor Challenges. On the women’s side of things, Kendal Grey shocked one and all, as she secured three points to win the match and earn the right to challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship.

In the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge, Je’Von Evans lived up to his pre-match billing and earned a decisive second point in the final moments to secure an NXT Championship match at New Year’s Evil. The Young OG will now challenge Oba Femi, who regained the NXT Title against Ricky Saints in the opening bout of the event.

Card for New Year’s Evil 2026:

* Oba Femi (c) vs. Je’Von Evans for the NXT Championship
* Jacy Jayne (c) Kendal Grey for the NXT Women’s Title
