Maven Critiques Recent Oba Femi & Brock Lesnar WWE Raw Confrontation
During a recent video posted on his YouTube channel, former WWE Superstar and Tough Enough winner Maven discussed the recent confrontation between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi that took place on the March 16 edition of WWE Raw. During the show, Lesnar confronted Seth Rollins, but he was attacked and given the Fall From Grace by Femi.
Maven found the segment to be a bit too awkward and mis-timed. He also shared his thoughts on rising Superstar Oba Femi. Below are some highlights:
Maven on Oba Femi
“WWE is great at building suspense. They’re always trying to find who that next superstar is. I know nothing about this kid, whether he can wrestle. I do know he’s impressive. You know, he’s physically just a monster to look at.”
On Brock Lesnar Telling Femi To Put His Foot on His Chest
“You just saw Brock tell him, ‘Put your foot on me on my chest.’ Like he — Brock told him to do that. Remember, at this point, Brock’s a he’s such a veteran. He knows the business. He’s selling the hell out of this, and he sold it for the right amount of time. And then skidaddled got out of dodge.”
His Criticism of the Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi Confrontation
“Yeah. But what Cory [Gravess] fails to mention is that God and the entire world probably didn’t want it to be that obvious. They should have done something. In my opinion, again, I’m shooting YouTube videos. These sons of *****es are doing it. They didn’t protect Brock, his legacy, his just toughness, by having it done the way they did it. They should have. They had him chase Seth out, and then the timing just wasn’t perfect as he turned. They — like it just — it was a beat too long for Oba picking him up. It was just a tiny bit too much to where it was a little bit awkward and uncomfortable. You see, timing is everything.
Femi and Lesnar had another confrontation on WWE Raw earlier this week, with Femi sending the former WWE Champion out of the ring. The two big heavyweights face off next month at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
