More WWE programming content is coming to ESPN, per aa report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select.
A condensed version of the 2026 Royal Rumble premium live event is reportedly going to air on ESPN’s main broadcast network on Sunday, February 22. It’s said that the move is part of a broader effort top promote upcoming PLEs, and it will allow ESPN to evaluate viewership data for an over-air presentation of the product.
Royal Rumble 2026 streamed on the ESPN App last month in the U.S. for ESPN Unlimited tier subscribers. WWE previously made the ESPN App the home of all WWE PLEs in the U.S. as part of a five-year deal. It kicked off in September 2025 with the debut Wrestlepalooza show.
