Nita Strauss Talks Playing Shinsuke Nakamura to The Ring at WrestleMania
Nita Strauss recently spoke with Riju Dasgupta and sportskeeda.com about her experience at WrestleMania 34. Here are the highlights…
On How The Deal Happened: The idea came from my manager, Josh. He’s a visionary. He sees things and he makes them happen. So, I woke up and he told me you’re going to do this amazing thing. I said -‘How?’ He said- ‘I don’t know!’ Then he started making calls, emailing and contacting people. Finally, he got through to the right people. They loved the idea. They changed it a bit to suit their ideas. And the next thing we knew, we’re on a plane to New Orleans.
On Nakamura’s Reaction to The Intro: He loved it. I was there when he found out. (Laughs). This was all the work of my team and the WWE team. So, Shinsuke actually found out that day. He loved it.
On Speaking To Ronda Rousey: Yes, I did. I spoke to her on Monday on the RAW after WrestleMania. Her love for wrestling really shows. It’s amazing to see. You can tell she’s really excited to be there. Excited for this new chapter. I’m excited to watch her. I thought her match was amazing.
