NJPW Blocks Wrestlers From Working For THE CRASH
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The CRASH in Mexico has attempted to book The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, Kazuchika Okada and Will Ospreay over the last several months, but NJPW blocked these bookings. The Young Bucks had worked here previously but couldn’t take future dates because New Japan doesn’t want its talent working in Mexico unless it’s for CMLL (they have a working agreement with them). At one point, there was an attempt to book Okada vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. for a major Tijuana show. At this time, the hope is with the dual working agreement between CMLL & The Crash (with Rush and Pierroth working both companies) will open the door to CMLL not blocking New Japan guys from working here, especially since CMLL guys were just working for All Japan.
