NJPW Wrestling Dontaku Night Two Results 5.4.26: Will Ospreay & Mistico Both Win Gold, More

The second night of NJPW Wrestling Dontaku took place on Monday morning in Fukuoka at the Convention Center. Four championships were on the line, and two of them ended up changing hands. Callum Newman defended the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and also had some words for his mentor Will Ospreay, who even while winning a championship alongside United Empire seems to be drifting away from the group.

Ospreay teamed with Great-O-Khan & HENARE to defeat Oleg Boltin, YOSHI-HASHI & Hirooki Goto for the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship, continuing his return from neck surgery. He joined the rest of United Empire for Newman’s post-match celebration but didn’t show a lot of excitement about it. The other title change on this morning’s show involved the ever-popular Mistico, who teamed with El Desperado to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship.
