Former WWE ID prospect Zayda Steel is reportedly on All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) radar.
Steel, 22, signed with World Wrestling Entertainment as part of its WWE ID program in November 2024. However, last month, Zayda revealed on social media that she had opted against signing a new deal with the global juggernaut.
According to Fightful Select, after Zayda Steel’s contract with WWE expired, AEW allegedly reached out to her. However, the website also cited a source that claimed that Steel has yet to sign with the Tony Khan-led company. Fightful further reported that under the terms of WWE ID deals, the global wrestling juggernaut “has matching rights” if a company intends to sign an ID-contracted talent. However, since Steel is no longer under contract, the said rules don’t apply. The website also confirmed that Zayda opted against signing a new deal with WWE, as she had previously revealed on social media.
Steel made her WWE in-ring debut in April 2025, losing to Brinley Reeche on an episode of EVOLVE. She also performed in GCW and APAC under the company’s banner. Her last televised match for the company took place on the October 22 episode of EVOLVE, where she faced Thea Hail in a losing cause.
Interestingly, after announcing her decision not to re-sign with WWE, Zayda Steel teased joining AEW on X. It will be interesting to see if she turns All Elite in the future.
