Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman is coming back for a second season on USA Network and a new report has an explanation for those curious about how Strowman can still use his WWE name. As reported, the USA Network food travel series has been renewed for a second season that will consist of 12 episodes. The show was a hit for the network in its first season.
Strowman is, of course, no longer under contract with WWE. The former World Heavyweight Champion was released in May. There have been some online wondering if USA Network had any difficulty in getting to use Strowman’s name for the show, and Fightful Select reports that the answer was “no.”
As the site points out, the first season was produced when Strowman was still with WWE. It goes on to say that WWE had no issue with USA Network using Strowman’s name for the show, as the network is of course a broadcast partner of theirs.
Strowman noted in September of last year while promoting the first season that he is “semi-retired” from wrestling and is focusing on acting and other non-wrestling work. He told Collide at the time that he’s “semi-retired from wrestling now, too, because I want to be an actor.”
No word as of yet on when the second season will air. The first season ended in early December.
