Will Ospreay had a special entrance for the AEW World Championship match at AEW All In, and a new report has a few notes on it. Ospreay’s entrance for his AEW World Championship match with Kenny Omega saw the challenger walk through the backstage area and pass several figures from his wrestling past and present from Zack Sabre Jr. and Ricochet to his United Empire stablemates, Jon Moxley, and more.
The latest Fightful Select Answers Q&A had a fan question as to whether the entrance was done live or as a pre-tape. Sean Ross Sapp noted that it was done live and that he had originally heard that the entrance was about eight minutes long on the Saturday beforehand, when the company did rehearsals for the show. The entrance ended up matching that same time with the final product on the PPV from the start of the narration to the start of Kenny Omega’s entrance.
Ospreay spoke during the post-All In media scrum about the entrance, noting:
“To me, that was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. I haven’t watched it back yet, but people are saying it was pretty flipping sick. So I can’t wait to see it.”
Will Ospreay defeated Kenny Omega to win the AEW World Championship in the match.
