Nikki Blackheart made her WWE in-ring debut before this week’s NXT, and a new report has some context around her signing. As noted, the former MPX Women’s Champion made her debut in a dark match on Tuesday night, competing as Martinez and defeating Skyler Raye.
Per F4W Online, Bryan Alvarez offered some context on Blackheart’s signing which happened in March. The report notes that Hart ended up on WWE’s radar after WrestleMania 2025, with reports that she was “top five” on their list of potential acquisitions.
Blackheart was praised by Bayley which is said to have basically guaranteed she would get a tryout. She had her tryout in February. Since signing, she had moved to Orlando where she’s under a typical starting contract at the Performance Center/NXT, which are usually for three years.
WWE has not yet announced Nikki Blackheart’s signing, and Alvarez notes there are three other names who have been signed but not yet announced. No word on who those other three are.
