This week’s edition of WWE RAW proved to be a memorable one for Penta, as the luchador captured his first championship in the company. Penta, who debuted in WWE in January 2025, had been in pursuit of the Intercontinental Championship for months.

After several unsuccessful attempts, Cero Miedo was finally able to get his hands on the title this Monday night by defeating Dominik Mysterio. Following that, Penta appeared on the No-Contest Wrestling Podcast, where he opened up about his title victory. Below are some highlights:

Penta on His WWE Intercontinental Title victory

“Man, the first thing was crazy. But at the same time, I feel like the emotion fixes it because it’s so very special for me, but the most important thing I want to say is ‘Thank You!’ Thank you to my family, thank you to my friends, thank you to my company, and thank you to everyone who believed in me, because this is very important, and thank you to myself, because I believe in me every single day to achieve this title. It’s like 20 years, the hard work, 20 years of sacrifice.”

On Dedicating His Victory To People Who Never Give Up

“But now, this title represents all these people who never give up because Penta represents all those people. Penta represents the dreamers; Penta represents the fighters, so they’re real life, you know? So, that’s why I feel so glad because, finally, these all people who believe in me, it’s like, finally, Penta growing up and Penta finally achieving the title. I think this is the most important thing because this title is not just for Penta; it’s for all those people.”
