Dual AEW and CMLL star and TBS Champion Persephone was in action at last night’s CMLL Viernes Espectacular. During the event, she teamed with Reyna Isis against Hera and Olympia in a two-out-of-three-falls match. After the bout, Persephone teased bringing her friend and tag team partner, Dr. Britt Baker, to next week’s show.
In the promo clip, Persephone says she’s bringing “a brave intelligent woman…D.M.D.” to next week’s Viernes Espectacular on October 16. She says in the clip (Translated from Spanish, via F4WOnline.com), “A doctor, or better yet, a female doctor, whom you might already know. You’ve complained, you’ve cried, you’ve whined that you don’t like how I win my matches, how I defend my championships. But I’m still champion.” She continued, “And as the great champion I am, I have a surprise for you. Next Friday, since it’s the Month of the Amazonas, I’m bringing you a brave, intelligent woman… D.M.D.”
Britt Baker made her long-awaited AEW return at All In London 2026, costing Maya World the TBS Title against Persephone. They also teamed up on last week’s AEW Dynamite, losing a six-woman tag team bout to Hyan, Marina Shafir, and Thunder Rosa.
