Red Velvet Beats Mercedes Mone For Women’s TV Title At ROH Final Battle

Red Velvet shocked Mercedes Mone to capture the latter’s ROH Women’s Television Championship at ROH Final Battle. Velvet defeated Mone on Friday’s show in a rematch of their recent Women’s TV Championship unification match.

The almost 14-minute match came to a finish when Velvet countered a Mone Maker into a facebuster for two. The two traded roll-ups and Mone went for the Statement Maker. However, Velvet was able to counter and roll-up Mone for the win and the title.

This marks Velvet’s second reign with the title. She previously held it from July 2024 until WrestleDream, though Mina Shirakawa and Mone held the interim title for 131 of those days due to Velvet’s injury. Mone’s reign as undisputed ROH Women’s TV Champion ends at 17 days, having unified the titles at WrestleDream.
