Rey Mysterio Reveals His Master Plan For IC Title Ladder Match At WrestleMania

After missing out on competing at WrestleMania last April, the legendary Rey Mysterio will be in action at The Show of Shows this weekend.

Mysterio will participate in the Six-Pack Ladder Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Given his vast experience, Rey has a bag of tricks in his arsenal, which he is ready to use to his advantage this Sunday.

Rey appeared on ESPN’s SportsCenter on Tuesday, April 14, to promote the Ladder Match at WrestleMania. During the conversation, he alluded to using some tricks to pick up the victory this Sunday. When the host asked him about what those tricks would be, Rey predictably didn’t reveal his cards and, in turn, gave a hilarious response.

“I’ll make them do all the hard work. I just got to climb and unstrap that title from that hook that’s hanging 20 feet above the ring.”

“Oh my God, I wake up every morning, do my cold plunge, get my cardio in, have my shake, prep up later that afternoon with my workout, jump in the ring for about an hour, and I kind of just be consistent. That’s the main objective: being consistent every single day to prep for not only this match in general but for all my matches.”
