Reigning AEW National Champion Ricochet continues to be a defending champion, defending the title outside of AEW. At last night’s CMLL Fin de Semana Internacional, the wrestler successfully defended the title against CMLL’s Titán.

Ricochet picked up the win and scored the pinfall after hitting Titán with the Spirit Gun. He’s now been the AEW National Champion for eight weeks, winning the belt in a Casino Gauntlet Match last November at AEW Full Gear 2025 to become the inaugural champ.

Since winning the belt, he’s defended it across AEW, ROH, and Revolution Pro Wrestling. Now, he’s taken it to Arena Mexico and successfully defended it in a CMLL ring.

After his victory over Titán, Ricochet commented, “And just like the arena out there, your boy Ricochet is muy caliente, I’m on fire right now. I’m hot. Just like I said beforehand, I told Titán, here in Mexico, I’m a superstar. I’m handsome, I’m rich, I’m famous, but most of all, I’m a champion.”

Ricochet noted that he’d welcome a rematch if Titán wants to face him again for the AEW National Title. He continued, “Yet Titán was nothing to me, especially here in Mexico. He’s nothing to me. And this shows that I am still the AEW National Champion. He asked me for one more match. He said, ‘Oh, we gotta do this one more time!’ I told him anywhere, anytime. You tell CMLL, you tell Tony Khan, you tell the New Japan guys, it doesn’t matter where. Titán, any time you want an opportunity, I’m right here waiting for ya.”

Ricochet added, “And at the end of this tour, everyone will know exactly why Ricochet is out of this world! *AHA* Get out of my face!” You can view clips and images of Ricochet’s match with Titán below:
