– Bill Apter has released the audio for ringside commentary between him and WWE Hall of Famer Bruno Sammartino for the legendary fight between Antonio Inoki and the late Muhammad Ali, which took place on Friday June 25, 1976. You can listen to the audio for the match in the player below.
Apter requested to sit in the dugout of Shea Stadium with Sammartino to do analysis of each round for the fight. The two watched the event during a closed circuit viewing event at Shea Stadium. Sammartino happily agreed to provide commentary.
