Roman Reigns Sends Message to Jacob Fatu Immediately After WWE Backlash 2026

Roman Reigns may have retained the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Backlash 2026, but he certainly faced the full wrath of Jacob Fatu both during and after the contest.

The Samoan Werewolf tried to choke out Roman with the Tongan Death Grip throughout the match. Roman managed to escape each time during the bout and eventually won after exposing one of the top turnbuckles and blasting Fatu’s head on it before delivering the decisive Spear.

However, Fatu wasn’t done. The Samoan Werewolf choked out Roman Reigns with the Tongan Death Grip. He also attacked various officials, including match referee and RAW GM Adam Pearce, and stood tall over the OTC with the title firmly in his grasp.

After the show went off the air, Cathy Kelley asked Roman to share his first thoughts on what had just transpired. Roman said that tonight’s exactly why Fatu should have never been allowed to join WWE and that this was Jacob’s last night here.

“This is why we should have never let Jacob in this company. You don’t belong here, Jacob. There is no order with you. This is your last night here,” Roman said.
