During a recent appearance on Tagging in with Chris Harris, AEW wrestler and former TNT Champion Scorpio Sky was asked about the recent report that his current AEW contract is slated to expire in a few months. Sky didn’t deny the report, and the cohost asked how he was feeling going into that period, and if he has a plan for where he wants to go next.
According to Scorpio Sky, he’s focused on finishing this current chapter of his career “the right way. He answered, “You know I’d be lying if I didn’t tell you that I thought about what I’m going to do and what the future looks like, but I really try not to put too much into that. Right now, I’m focused on finishing this chapter the right way. And I have a lot of stories and matches and moments left to be part to be a part of, and I’m excited to step into those moments.” He added, “So, you know, we’ll let tomorrow handle tomorrow, and I’m just going to focus on today.”
The 43-year-old wrestler has been a part of AEW since the company began in 2019. He and Frankie Kazarian as SCU became the inaugural AEW World Tag Team Champions when they won the titles in January 2019. Sky is also a two-time former TNT Champion.
As noted, Sky’s current AEW contract is expected to be up in October. The wrestler has primarily been competing in ROH as pat of SkyFlight. He last wrestled in AEW at Revolution 2026 in the Zero Hour pre-show in March. He competed in the 21-Man Blackjack Battle Royal for the AEW National Title.
