Season Premieres of Biography: WWE Legends and WWE Rivals Drop in Numbers
– Sunday, February 25 marked the return of the WWE Superstar Sunday block to A&E with new episodes of Biography: WWE Legends and WWE Rivals. Sunday’s new episode, showcasing the career of Randy Orton, averaged 377,000 viewers and drew a 0.11 rating in the P18-49 key demo, per SpoilerTV.
Viewership and ratings were down overall from the Season 3 finale for the docuseries, which showcased late WWE Hall of Famer The Iron Sheik. That Biography episode averaged 452,000 and drew a 0.14 rating. The Randy Orton episode ranked No. 26 on Sunday for cable original programming.
The season premiere of WWE Rivals, showcasing the rivalry of Triple H and The Rock averaged 351,00 viewers and drew a 0.07 key demo rating. Viewership was down from the first season finale on Steve Austin vs. Shawn Michaels that aired on April 23, 2023. That episode drew 433,000 viewers and a 0.15 rating.
The season premiere of WWE Rivals ranked No. 51 for cable original programming.
