Former WWE Superstar Shayna Baszler has added another championship to her resume. The veteran competed at the Florida-based Boca Raton Championship Wrestling Promotion on Sunday (November 2).
The promotion presented its November Knockdown event this past Sunday. Baszler battled Lacey Lane for the then-vacant BRCW Women’s Championship.
After nearly 13 minutes of back-and-forth action, Baszler was able to beat Lane and capture the title.
Former BRCW Women’s Champion Ash By Elegance, who had vacated the title in an emotional announcement earlier that night, wrapped the title around Baszler’s waist.
Shayna Baszler recently returned to in-ring action following her WWE departure earlier this year. She parted ways with the company following the expiration of her contract this past July after WWE informed her that it would not be renewing her deal.
However, she did appear in a backstage segment on the September 16 Homecoming episode of NXT. Baszler is a two-time NXT Women’s Champion and a three-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion. However, she failed to win a singles title on the main roster.
