Shayna Baszler Volunteers for Role as New WWE NXT GM

As previously reported, WWE NXT General Manager Ava announced her exit from WWE yesterday. That means NXT no longer has a GM, and it looks like a former NXT Women’s Champion, Shayna Baszler, is interested in the role.

Baszler commented on the development last night via social media, writing, “Oh? @WWENXT needs a new GM?” She also posted a gif showing her pointing at herself. So, it looks like Baszler is throwing her hat into the ring.

Shayna Baszler was previously released by WWE last year. However, she continued to do some work behind-the-scenes for promotion. It’s unknown if WWE will want to bring Baszler on as the new General Manager oof the NXT brand.
