WWE News: Sin Cara Signs New Contract With WWE, Kane Writing Book About Going from Wrestler to Mayor

– PWInsider reports that Sin Cara has signed a new contract with WWE. The two sides apparently came to terms on the new deal a few weeks ago after Cara had been working under an extension of his previous deal.

Cara hasn’t been on WWE TV since August of 2018 due to knee surgery. He was backstage at Smackdown last week though and has been working out at the WWE Performance Center.

– PWInsider reports that Glenn “Kane” Jacobs is working on a book about going from a professional wrestler to a politician (Jacobs is now the Mayor of Knox County, TN). The working title for the book is “Mayor Kane: My Life in Wrestling and Liberty” and is expected to be released in November. Jacobs ran as a Republican in his election and easily won with 66% of the vote.
