Six-Woman Tag Team Match Announced For WWE SmackDown Tonight

WWE has added a six-woman tag team match to tonight’s September 25 episode of SmackDown from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green will team with Tiffany Stratton and Paige against Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Lainey Reid) in the newly announced match. The match comes after Jayne qualified for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match on last week’s SmackDown.

The tag team match also features four current WWE champions. Green holds the WWE Women’s Championship. Jayne is the WWE Women’s United States Champion. Henley and Reid are the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

The bout joins an already announced lineup for tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown. CM Punk, Gunther, and Finn Bálor will meet in a triple-threat match for a spot in the men’s Money in the Bank. Charlotte Flair, Giulia, and Lash Legend will compete in the women’s Money in the Bank qualifier.

Trick Williams will defend the United States Championship against Baron Corbin inside a steel cage. The September 25 episode will air live at 8 p.m. ET on the USA Network in the United States and on Netflix internationally.
