Stampede Wrestling and USWA Added to The WWE Network
December 3, 2015 | Posted by
– WWE has again added more old school territory content to the WWE Network. First they have added three episodes of Stu Hart’s Stampede Wrestling (1978 and 1979). They have also added nine episodes under the “Global Wrestling Federation” label. These shows actually are events from 1990-1992, and are from the time period Jerry Jarrett was running Texas under the USWA banner. Jarrett had purchased 60% of World Class from Kerry and Kevin Von Erich in 1989, leading to the USWA running in Texas and Memphis.
WWE has been busy this week, also adding Mid-South, AWA, Smoky Mountain and NWA footage to the library.
