Tatum Paxley Reacts After Being Betrayed By The Culling On NXT Gold Rush Week 1

Tatum Paxley has reacted to the shocking turn of events that unfolded on last night’s WWE NXT.

NXT Gold Rush Week One ended shockingly, with Jacy Jayne defeating Tatum to become a two-time NXT Women’s Champion, thanks to The Culling betraying Paxley in the final moments of the bout.

Following the shocking betrayal, Tatum Paxley took to X to ask her now-former stablemates the same question that’s on everyone’s mind at the moment.

“Why?” Paxley asked.

During the match, Izzi Dame slid a steel chair and the title belt into the ring for Tatum Paxley to use. However, the defending champion refused to use them. Her refusal came back to haunt her.

In the final moments of the match, Paxley managed to roll up Jayne for a near fall. However, the Fatal Influence member kicked out, launching her opponent out of the ring in the process. Following this, Shawn Spears and Niko Vance unexpectedly blocked Paxley’s way as she tried to return to the ring. This led to Dame blasting Paxley with her boot as Jayne continued arguing with the match official over the title belt being inside the ring.

Dame’s attack allowed Jayne to nail another Rolling Encore and regain the NXT Women’s Championship. Her victory meant Tatum’s reign ended in just 24 days.
