Thekla is headed to AEW WrestleDream to challenge Mercedes Mone for the AEW Women’s World Championship courtesy of her victory at All Out: Chicago.

Saturday’s pay-per-view saw former Women’s World Champions Willow Nightingale and Thekla go one-on-one for a shot at Mercedes Mone’s title at next month’s WrestleDream.

Thekla dominated most parts of the match, as she repeatedly targeted Willow’s recently injured hand. At one point, she connected with a Spear, but Willow managed to kick out and then gain some momentum by hitting a Lariat.

The match saw interference from Julia Hart and Skye Blue. Hart ran down to the ring, allowing Blue to attempt a shot at Willow. However, she accidentally struck Thekla.

The closing stretch of the bout saw Willow Nightingale attempt her signature Powerbomb. However, she couldn’t pull it off due to her injured hand. Thekla then Curb Stomped her hand and head to secure the victory and exact revenge on Willow for her defeat at Redemption 2026.

After the match, Mercedes Mone appeared at the ramp to confront her challenger at WrestleDream. The annual pay-per-view will take place at Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida, on October 17.
