Tommy Dreamer Thinks WWE NXT Is a Safer Place for Wrestlers To Get TV Time

– During a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, TNA Wrestling’s Tommy Dreamer explains why he’d be afraid to go to the main roster in WWE right now since it’s a very stacked roster at the moment, and he views WWE NXT as a safer place for wrestlers to get their TV time. Below are some highlights (via WrestlingInc.com):
“When people [talk] about that main roster, I’d be afraid because, especially if I am a female, that roster is stacked. And then where do I fit in? That’s the hardest part. You know it. You’re on a loaded roster in AEW. How do I get TV time? Where am I going to fit in on this brand to get noticed, to get a push, to get this, to get that. NXT is a very, very safe place for representation on television because they do an excellent job of fitting everybody on.”
As previously reported, WWE announced a multi-year partnership with TNA Wrestling that continues the working relationship established last year. NXT superstars and TNA wrestlers will appear on WWE and TNA programming. Also, NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom are set to defend their titles this Thursday against The Rascalz.
