Update on Randy Orton Returning to TV

If you’ve noticed — or rather, haven’t — Randy Orton’s TV appearances of late, there haven’t been many. He’s also not set at present top be competing at Survivor Series, though that could certainly change. But don’t worry too much about the Viper, as he won’t be gone for long. At least, not according to WWE’s latest advertising.
Per PWInsider, Orton is currently being advertised for the Smackdown taping in Moody, Texas, Dec. 5th. That’s the show right after Survivor Series. It makes sense that either he’ll show up at the PLE and start something with somebody, or begin a new feud after the War Games storyline resolves.
Could he join Team Punk/Rhodes/Usos? It’s certainly a strong possibility. Two weeks out from Survivor Series, we still know very little about the final card.
So far, all that’s confirmed is:
Men’s WarGames Match: Cody Rhodes, CM Punk & The Usos vs. The Vision, Logan Paul, & Drew McIntyre.
Women’s WarGames Match: Nia Jax, Lash Legend & The Kabuki Warriors vs. Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, and Alexa Bliss.
WarGames matches can be flexible with team member numbers, but have often been five on five, though only four-on-four sides are confirmed right now. There’s still time to change things up, though.
